I believe these two players should be a option.

Kevan Barlow and Chris Brown provides that powerback that we are looking for. I believe either or would be a good choice in signing.

Doug Grabiel brings a physical possession wide receiver presence to the roster. I would like to see him compete with Miles Austin.

We have plenty at RB and must continue to develope TT, not pick up old RBs that won't get any reps anyway.

As far as WR, we have 6 we want to keep now. I don't understand? If this were a CB thread i might, but RB and WR?

With a lot of respect, my humble opinion is that:

Neither RB would be an option, as we have a lot of talent and deph at that position.

As for the Wr, I feel like we have our 2 starters obviously covered, and the next 3 are really nice backups, adding up the 2 first rounders and others picks on next draft, we can pick some Wr from there...

I would look upon a CB or BackUp NT in case we add someone from the ppl that are being cut.

FNS - familiar name syndrome. it's a distant reletave of the IGS.

I would be more intrigued if someone said Tyson Thompson has been released. I used to like Barlow. He has had more than 1 opportunity.

To RCF, everybody who is still breathing is an option.
Same thing during the draft. Everyone wants someone they heard of before. Means they will be AWESOME

Wait, are these guys 'name' players? Forget about them, they are already on a plane to Washington to cash in bigtime.

Chris Brown stays too vertical. He just doesn't have the forward-leaning posture that allows a back to deliver the blow in traffic and, as a result, is prone to injury.

Now, if he had Eric Dickerson's vision and ability to swivel he could get away with it.

Unfortunately, he doesn't have Eric Dickerson's vision and ability to swivel. Heck - who does? And that's why we see so many backs leaning forward to deliver the blow in traffic. Cuz they also lack Eric Dickerson's vision and ability to swivel.

The major difference between these other backs and Brown? They are cognizant of this fact.

I still can't get over the way Brown stiffed Roy Williams to the ground on that TD run a coupla few seasons ago. Brown is a ready-made target for a guy like Roy and 99 times outta 100 woulda got completely blown up.

Oh well... least I can say I saw it.

We don't need a possession WR since we have that in Crayton & Hurd. Austin has speed & size as does Stanbach but both need to develop.
