Twitter: Kevante Turpin Does Backflip in "Victory Formation"

I get what Reality's saying though. We've seen guys score a TD, or make a great play of some other sort, then injure themselves celebrating it. This however, isn't spur of the moment. He's done it many times, and was planning it, so I'm not worried about it.

Not sure why you felt the need to resort to insults when my comment was pointing out how risky Turpin's flip was for his career.

If he gets injured, the Cowboys will move on from him so it is not like it matters to the team in the long run.

His quickness and speed are what got him on an NFL team. Given that his career is just now starting, if he suffers a leg/knee/ankle/foot injury at this point in his career, especially if it happens doing something careless like that, it could put his NFL career at risk.

There are always quick and fast guys coming out of college that could replace him if he opens start window of opportunity.
..@Reality.. hack his PC, send him some Philly Malware. ..;)..

What bothers me most about Turpin is the offense wasting his great punt return. Too bad he didn't score, best I can tell, he would have been the first Cowboy to go house on a punt return since Ryan Switzer in 2017.

The NFL shouldn't allow this type of celebration any longer. Players can easily hurt themselves without even realizing it right away.

I saw it and think he was stupid for doing it.

For a guy whose NFL career is completely dependent on his quickness and speed, the last thing he should be doing is anything that could injure his legs, knees, ankles or feet.

One wrong step and his season or possibly career is over.
I've done thousands of standing backflips. There's very little chance of hurting yourself, unless it's your first time doing it.

I didn't notice this, but I like it. Something for them to play for each game: watching Turpin celebrate with a backflip after closing out the game.

Great way to tear an ACL right there.

Uh, I know a great, talented gymnast who also did these things every day. And then one day, she made a mistake, and won't ever walk again.....

Sad.
That’s way different than what Turpin is doin. He’s not standing on a balancing beam. He’s standing stationary on the ground.

Thank you. That’s what I been saying. Me and my friends did it all the time when we’re younger

would like to see the hold kneel down with the Landry shift and back flip.

No need. Better to be cautious and avoid injury.

I love this kid. Got to get him in the slot Ă nd screens. should have at least 15 offensive snaps a game. With him and Pollard we have 2 guys who can take it 2 the house on any play. We don't have consistent QB play so use your weapons.

Good luck with that. Kellen Moore is Jason Garrett 2.0.

His life, his paycheck. Let the kid be a hyper excited kid and having fun. He goofs up, that is on him. Dude is quick...

......or he could get hit by a bus.

I'm wondering why he's the deep guy on that play. I'd rather have someone who not only is fast but also big enough to actually tackle someone if necessary.

He's probably done a thousand backflips.

Didn't Lewis get injured celebrating his interception?
