beriault really showed a lot before he had surgery. i really hope we don't write him off yet. heck if jacon rogers got a 2nd shot then beriault should get one

No way do we keep 5 safeties, and Beriault would get signed if we tried to stash him on the PS.

Chances are it will be between Coleman and Beriault. Do we keep 2 true FS and 2 true SS and get rid of Beriault, who doesn't fit where we need him and has bad knees?

Or do we keep 3 SS, keep Davis playing FS, Beriault to SS behind Roy, and dump the aging Coleman?

Honestly, I think it is likely we cut Coleman, but I'm not a huge fan of either, so I don't care much.

I actually think Pile would be the 4th. He's younger and probably similar to Coleman in terms of his play at FS. Pile's STs play gives him the nod.

Coleman is just another guy to me. An Izell Reese, if you will. An experienced stop-gap type player you have in TC just in case all else fails.

Beriault has to stay on the field. Who knows - he may be a better player than Pile. we'll have to see. But right now, he's probably on the outside looking in.

starting lbs this year are James, Carpenter, Ware, and Ayodele. Burnett and Boiman are backups. Who gets cut?

I'd say Shanle gets cut. Both Boiman and Burnett can play both OLB and ILB. Fowler stuffs the run and is strong on STs. I think Fowler gets the 7th and final spot.
