he only miss 4 games, 3 as a rookie and 1 this year maybe 2 but 5 games in 4 years not bad, plus he's my cousin so I say keep him, if he doesn't leave and go to the 9ers

Crap. He's from California. Tell Burnett, thanks for that 16 tackle game against Florida. That is the last time the Vols beat them. He knocked Faison out at the one yard line before he scored, and he sacrificed his body to do it. They missed the field goal. Yes.

Plus, tell him thanks for drilling Grossman and forcing fumbles.

Burnett strikes me as one of those guys who is playing for big money before being a great player. In fact, I believe that's even been mentioned several times by various commentators over the last few years.

He's not one you bring back. He's probably just the opposite -- one that needs to go.

Kevin Burnett plays hard. That shouldn't be an issue. He wants to win. Of course, he wants his money, too.

how about the game against LSU when he was all over the field and knocked Rohan davey out the game...... next season he had 2 sacks in the 1st quarter of the first game and torn his knee up. I hope he resigns he's a good player, not spectacular but good and solid....

We cannot afford to lose good team players, plus he will not break the bank, also he can play all four LB positions, not to shabby if u ask me.....

Last but not least he's family.......

I have saw every game that Kev has played with Dallas, well I saw Dallas over the last 20 yeARs, I have never heard an announcer speak on Kev about money. I know he probably wants a new contract, but he will not break the bank, not even close.

Something around 4 years 10-12 mil with a 4 mil SB, would be perfect...... It's not like he's asking for 6 years 35 mil- 12mil SB, his stats don't warrant it, but he does deserve a raise.......
