I think we need Burnett bigtime in this game to handle the TE. Burnett has the best speed!

I think Burnett is better equipped to work on the weakside. Carp isn't "slow" and he's bigger.

i was actually impressed with the pressure carpy was getting, and it was a bull rush most of the time. I think he knows this is his chance kinda like when jj went down last year and barber stepped in.

Wouldn't it be something if Carp is a big factor the second half of the season and all the naysayers have to eat crow? Many rookies take time to develop. I think folks have given up on Bobby Carpenter too soon.

I may have to rewatch the game, but all I remember was Carp getting eaten up by the OT with his bullrush move.

TRUTHFULLY with ellis out we will get better stopping the run a little,,,not on all runs just some of the time..he gets beat around that corner, especially if he commits and on short dump off passes...i would love to see hatcher out there and burnett IMO....

It looks like he is more WLB and WILB stuff but Singelton isnt huge and did fine strong side last year. I do think Carp is a much better SLB in this scheme.

Losing Ellis hurts us in the pass and run...end of story. I'm pulling for Burnett to get the reps in and I think he has some solid upside if he stays healthy.
