And thats just the start of closing the gap because out of those picks, there would have to be a nearly 100% rate of those rookies having success and being able to rapidly get to nfl level.

I dont like those odds and thats why so many of us were really hoping that a blue chip LB could have been aquired via FA or trade......it would at least start to address that need

Parker alone makes the defense better. Eberflus scheme was brutal. Looked like my son's pop warner defense

I like what they’ve done. They’ve picked up players who aren’t soft and are dawgs. They’ve improved the physicality of the defense. This defense doesn’t need to be flawless. They are gonna have holes and that’s ok. Can they stop the run? Can they win in the trenches?
