Kevin King seems like the most promising CB out there

I'll be surprised if they call in anybody. I think we all have to just sit here and hope that Bland and Joseph are ready to take charge. Bland certainly has teased that he is ready, but I think none of us are sure about Joseph yet. Time will tell. Let's hope so!

Edit: Or as Risen mentioned last night, plug in Mukumau at CB.

From what I have seen it looks like Joseph has spped, has size...his big issue he has no clue what to do when the ball is thrown his way. He gets turned around quickly, and gets lost....
He has the physical tools to be a good CB
The question is can he develop the smarts to play. He’s young and raw so he has a chance but today I don’t think he’s ready but he’s gonna be the guy no matter what for a week or two anyway

A healthy and rested Richard Sherman with only having to play in the last half of the schedule already played might be a good option.

He turned down offers to sit out the 2022 season to be fully healthy. But nothing half a year to 2/3rds of a year shouldn't have been able to fix. The excitement of our season has to be intriguing to any true competitor.

Ups and downs mostly due to injuries but has also put great play on tape. 6'3, 32 inch arms and the type of length and athleticism DQ covets.

The Cowboys had a 1st round grade on King and he fits the length and speed they want a CB. Does sit out the year mean after 16 weeks?

Bland is a solid slot CB
Anyone you sign is likely to be depth right now though
But depth is important and Joseph hasn’t really been that impressive to me
Joseph is pretty much a waste of a pick.

I think Dallas is much more likely to roll with what we have vs. bring in someone.

What's clear is that Joseph and Wright are going to see more time and their evaluations the rest of the season are going to be extremely crucial to their future here. I think Joseph will have more leeway, but Wright is on thin ice.

That has sort of been my impression. If he can play coming forward or turn & run with a receiver on a simple go route, he's ok. If he has to deal with multiple moves, crossing thru traffic or "feel" a defender behind him (like a zone scheme) he is pretty lost.

Doesn't KK have a long injury history?
He does. Injured in 2017, 2018, 2020.

But if you sign him, let him learn the playbook. He isn’t necessarily needed until Philly in 3 weeks. You’re asking him to play Philly, Tennessee, Playoffs. I don’t think they will play the starters against Washington

AJ Bouye is beyond washed at this point, and Sherman is way too slow these days.

Doesn't matter who is on that side they are going to need to give him help.
