I feel like Ogletree did more in yesterday's game than he did in all his time at UVA. What a jerk.

I have mixed emotions about his success with this team right now. They'll fade eventually, but he can suck a fat one for not being a superstar in college at this point in my feeling bag.

Ogletree has shown that the only think keeping him down is the amount of passes coming his way. The guy has only caught every single pass that has come his way in all of the preseason and regular season games.

Give him some more chances and he'll come through for us.

His body type, quickness and speed are absolutely perfect for a slot WR, and his hands are apparently very good.

Awesome find for our personnel department.

I'm sure he will get more oppertunties as we move on. He got more in this game than he did in the game before

Didn't he have some really sucky QBs "throwing" to him in college?

Say what you want about Crayton, sometimes he deserves it, but lately he has come up with at least one big play a game. Some people just need to stop with the hate. All our receivers did well last night in a game that was back and forth, what more can you ask for? And I am usually a pessimist.

QFT.

.... message is too short my ***. lol.

I agree. It's the fact that ALL of them get a chance to make plays that keeps them alert throughout the game. They know if they are in, there's a chance the ball is coming their way. It helps eliminate the half-***** efforts from players who don't think they're being "used enough". With this many playmakers, we may not have a single skill position player make the Pro Bowl (sans Romo), but we're going to win a hell of a lot more games and confuse a hell of a lot more D coordinators. I'd rather have 7-8 offensive guys who can make a play at any given time than having two guys that you "have to get the ball to" in order to win. I don't give a **** about who's the #1 or the #4 WR. The #1 is always the guy who's open (now). It has been the entire season. Feelings and contracts be damned.

THANK YOU. This is one of the best posts I've read in a while and I completely agree.

I think the days are gone when all you need is just 1 great receiver, 1 good receiver (and the rest mediocre), 1 good RB, and an excellent QB in order to win. I think the game is migrating towards spreading the ball around more... it's less about who is THE starter and rather who do I have at the position who can contribute for me.

I think this is a big difference between the early 90's teams and today's team -- back then we had Irvin, Harper, Emmitt, Aikman, and Novacek who got the vast majority of balls... how often did we see the 3rd, 4th, or 5th receiver making plays, or the 2nd and 3rd RB? Sure those teams were great, but I think today's team has a lot more depth. As you pointed out, it's doubtful that many of our skill position players will make the Pro Bowl because we spread the ball so much that no single person will have inflated stats.... cause there's really no notion of #1's on this team, but instead everyone has a role and will get touches... I personally think it's a great way to do things because the players will be more fresh throughout games and the season, and it's more rewarding to players who might otherwise not see playing time if say a TO or Emmitt were in front of them.

Ogletree has some scary measurables, the only real knock on him there is that hes only six foot even. Other than that, hes got a decent vertical, has great acceleration, can switch directions very quickly, and actually ran a slightly faster fourty than Austin did.

I'm frankly pretty surprised that he wasn't drafted with those sort of stats, but I'm glad he wasn't since it gave the Cowboys a shot at him.
You just robbed Ogletree of a half inch there.
