- First day for clubs to designate Franchise or Transition Players

February 19-25
- NFL Scouting Combine, Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana


March 8
- Clubs are permitted to contact, and enter into contract negotiations with, the certified agents of players who will become Unrestricted Free Agents upon the expiration of their 2013 Player Contracts

March 11
- The 2014 League Year and Free Agency period and Trade period begin at 4:00 p.m EST, and teams must be under the Salary Cap

May 8-10
