I am hearing that Steve Smith is not happy with Key. Saying he is no Mushin Mahomed.

Maybe there will be enough going on over there that they pay less attention to our goings-ons...

I think that is an old comment from Smith back when Key was first signed and not likely intended to be more an honor to Muhsin than a discredit to Key.

I don't believe that Key will be anything other than a great move for them.

TO will make his own bed one way or the other. Hopefully for the good.

There was a thread on this awhile back. He basically just said that they'll have to wait and see how much of a contribution he is. He said that nobody can be compare to Muhsin. Apparently the guy is pretty high on his buddy Muhsin.

Steve was interviewed on WFNZ the next morning, and said that the reporter took this out of context. He said that he really liked Key, and was only being a loyal friend to Moose, not hating on TO!

I just dont see how getting Keyshawn was such a great move for them. Smith with see double teams 100% of the time now. To me, Johnson is a #3 receiver not a #2. I predict Smith and Johnson will not get along. And the Panthers are not a scary team. No NFC team is other than the Cowboys ;)

You guys have got short memories. Key has made a number of tough and clutch catches for us in these last few years. With consistent single coverage, I think he'll do really well for the panthers.

I gottta disagree...Key was a clutch receiver on 3rd down last year. The Panthers also have Colbert who is young but able. So I think they'll both play 2nd and 3rd receiver spots. Plus Key is a good downfield blocker which helps the run game. Overall I don't see how you can say he's not an improvement over the nothing they had behind Colbert last year.

I just dont see how the Panthers will be scary with the addition of Keyshawn. For two years he was a part of a 15-17 non-playoff team that had an average passing game that also included Terry Glenn. Now he goes to a Panther team that also has an average passing game and somehow he is gonna make them explosive? Key did a decent job with his short stint with the Cowboys...but with him, we would never be more than average.

Steve Smith is pretty freaking explosive. They don't need Key to be anything other than what he is, which is a clutch second option. Somebody Delhomme can go to if Smith is triple covered, who will make the tough grab and move the chains.
