He said he didn't do nothing wrong and was trying to educate TO and TO is trying to inject himself into the media because he had a horrible game last week.

He also said "Don't get into a pissing contest with a skunk, cause he'll win and like it" or something like that.

:espn:just shot down to and said he need to explain to him in an elementary way that he isnt going to win the championship its a team thing. it sounded like keyshawn had someone write some of the stuff for him . its not fair to TO that they give keyshawn 10 minutes to defend himself. honestly i hope to just doesnt say anything back . ESPN just trying to sensationalize stuff.

where to begin................. he said that its no coincedence that TOs comments came after a game in which Witten was the focus, that TO needs the attention that's why he is acting out.

He also said his comments was his attempt to talk to him as a grown man and said something to the effect of that when you play with a skunk, they piss on you and they like it:eek:

Sorry i'm not very good at recaping, maybe somebody else can do a better job.

p.s. he made sure to give himself some props though.

I wish they would have got Sean Salisbury's (sp?) response on that whole situation. I'd be willing to bet he sides with T.O. on this. It's pathetic how ESPN is making it sound as if Keyshawn said nothing wrong when in fact he started and T.O. did nothing wrong other than state a fact that Parcells didn't use him properly. ANY good football analyst would say this, but because Parcells works for ESPN now they WON'T! No one at ESPN wants to give credit to Garrett for using T.O. better than old Bill and they most definately don't want to agree with T.O. What's sad is that ESPN started all of this and now will spin it against T.O.

It's a daggone shame there's not another sports network to challenge ESPN so their opinion is not the only one out there. Hopefully, the NFL Network will chime in on this. C'MON DEION, CHIME IN!!

But of course, anything else would be uncivilized :lmao2: .

Why are you guys concerned about Key when he won't even be employed(on TV) next year.

Key was just on ESPN with Galloway on 103.3 and these are some of his comments about the TO situation (paraphrasing):

-Key first appologized to the Dallas fans for something that was taken too far by TO. Key said that he'd publically stated that TO should be given serious consideration for MVP.

-Keys comments were meant more as advice than attacking TO.

-That TO will never win the public battle against a future HOF coach and that if the Boys didn't win the SB, people are going to come back and point the finger at TO. But TO responded to the comments in a more personnal fashion.

-Key stated that after the games he played against Gruden, that he met his former coach at mid-field and wished him well, that the past was the past. And that's the appraoch TO should take, as opposed to constant comments about how the team/offense is using him more now than last season, etc., etc.

-When Galloway asked if that's not the case, Key stated that TO dropped a bunch of balls last year (20 something key mentioned but I don't know if that's accurate) and that the offense did go to Owens but the dropped balls are not the offenses fault.

All in all, the interview was way too short which was kind of surprising. I'll edit if I can recall anything else.........

But, you know, this is precisely the kind of 'journalism' I can't stand...It's like shock media bs...You can't propagate it though, let it go through the PR staff of the Cowboys...If you involve TO and it perpetuates it becomes a story.

Plus, let's not forget what we're dealing with, TO has a propensity to get himself into hot water when dealing with the media and the media know it...Everything is sailing along smoothly in Big D so how do you get a rise?...You take shots at TO...Problem is, it reverberates and it's not going to end soon...I wasn't liking where this was going and continue to be concerned about it.

That being said, Key and ESPN, just such clowns...All about hyping and gaining some attention :espn:

.

Taken too far by T.O., and not Keyshawn? You got to be kidding me...

Uh, Keyshawn... he is responding to questions about what is different between how he is used this year and last year... maybe you need to tell your friends at ESPN to stop asking him these CONSTANT questions so he won't keep making CONSTANT comments...

I can't believe a guy who wrote the book "Just throw me the Damn Ball" and who was dumped by the Bucs in mid-season for selfishness is suddenly an expert on team ball????

Basically..Key was pretty much the blueprint for Moss,Owens, and Chad Johnson. Only thing is he didn't have half the talent that any of them have. It's like David Duke coming out saying racism is wrong.

Trey Wingo used to spend all his time bagging on johnson. Mostly for having more mouth and ability.

Now wingo is on my tv defending johnson because of his mouth and attacking owens.

in 05 wingo was laughing at johnson and saying he didnt have half the ability that harrison, bruce, holt and owens had but he talks as much as any of them.

Wingo should be embarrassed. He used to never shut up about it on his old saturday espn radio show.

All three of them wingo, johnson and owens are tools.

i cant wait till we have a home grown wr from the draft that it feels good to root for.

nonsense like this is just, typical espn and typical of sports today.

I gotta tell ya, TO isn't home grown but I feel great rooting for him especially when he's in the endzone or making a big catch. He is a major part in us winning and it feels great to root for him.. I'm just saying!!!

I have to greatly disagree with you on that one. Glenn and TO have been huge for us.

I don't know the guy personally to hate him. I'll never understand that but I am damn glad he's on our team.. You can hate him all you want if that works for you, I'm just gonna stick to enjoying his play for the Boyz and keep rooting him on. This season is to good and magical for hate to be involved. Enjoy yourself, I sure am...
