Key things to look for in the Cowboys vs. Giants game
http://thelandryhat.com/2016/09/06/key-things-cowboys-giants/
...Cowboys and Giants. Giants and Cowboys. New York and Dallas. An early, meaningful contest between two NFC East rivals that could effect how the division shakes up later.
For New York, the Giants are heading to AT&T Stadium with a rookie head coach. Quarterback Eli Manning will look to guide his once dominant reign over the stadium again.
For Dallas, the Cowboys are thrusting their two rookies into the limelight right away. Quarterback Dak Prescott will execute with his feet and arm while rookie runner Ezekiel Elliott begins his heavily hyped NFL career.
Let’s look at some key points to look for in this head-to-head match up between the Cowboys and Giants…
Can the Boys create turnovers?
The Dallas Cowboys had a measly 11 turnovers total last season. Can defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli sprinkle some pressure magic upfront on defense without his key pass rushers (DeMarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory)?
I think a lot of this will depend on the offense, actually. If Dak Prescott can baby the football without any turnovers and use the Ezekiel Elliott and Alfred Morris combo effectively, then I think it’s safe to say Dallas will dictate the flow of the game.
This in turn will create pressure for New York. Eli Manning will throw the ball. With a few turnovers, the Giants will probably melt like quicksand as they watch Dallas gain a sizable lead.
The saying in Dallas goes, where Tony goes Dallas goes. Let’s update that phrase: Where Dak goes Dallas goes...
