Seemed the eagles keyed to run wide at Hitchens and Wilcox. And both were gobbled up by OL. They need to be able to avoid or get off the blocks. Majority of Eagles rushing yrds came on these types of called runs.

Stay within the system on defense. The eagles are going to get their yrds. Just make them dink and dunk, give up nothing big. The eagles caught the boys a couple times with big plays but for the most part made the eagles dink and dunk. They have to get stops tho.

Sanchez is much like Romo if there is traffic in front of him he is unable to find his target. Pressure needs to come from the middle rather then the edge. contain the edge and play for them screens they run with regularity.

This eagles offense is no different from past. You hit their Wrs and they get alligator arms.

The defense gave up yrds but they kept them in the game until the 4th quarter. The offense needs to show up.

OL needs to adjust and account for them stunts unside. Leary is going to have to be able to handle that one on one with Cox. They singled Leary out last game to get that one on one matchup with Cox. Leary failed. He needs to come out with atleast a tie this game.

Free needs to be able to handle Barwin. He was the biggest reason the run game struggle last game vs the Eagles. Barwin sat in the lane and was able to get off Free blocks. He got the better of Martin a few times too.

Eagles are leaving their CBs in one on one coverage most of the time. Thats just how their defense is. Dez needs to get open quicker, plain and simple. Maybe some quicker developing routes. He needs to keep himself between the Cb and ball, Williams defensed a few would be catches to Dez. Romo needs to be sharper with his throws to Dez,

I do think the team suffered from having that Sunday night game and being delayed. Dallas basically had 2 practices and Romo only 1. and didnt take his shot before the game which he said was a mistake.

Coaches need to take advantage of how the eagles leave their CBs on islands. OL has to give romo time to be able to accomplish this.

Last game was bad but their were alot of circumstances that played into it. The game is def winnable. I see a hard ugly win.

Good assessment. This game is a lot more winnable than the naysayers believe. The Cowboys just didn't show up on a very short week and allowed themselves to get pushed around. They aren't going to let it happen again, in my opinion.

Frankly, I'm surprised that we looked so good against Seattle, they looked so good against Philly, and we subsequently looked so bad against Philly.

seattle was playing just as good before the cowboys game. they had lost to SD. They were healthy until that cowboys game. Dallas just ran them over plain and simple. wonder when fans are going to stop belittling anything posistive the cowboys do.

Get the Edge set to funnel their run game inside the tackles, cant bite on the rb press of a inside hole by the DE's, and then give up the big outside run.........Heck come with the Iggles old Wide 9 look on occasion. I hoping Brendt can hold the line inside better than last game and keep the LB clean.

play action early would be nice to see. the eagles were very aggressive coming up to fill the rushing lanes and had 8 guys close to LOS. Be nice to change up 1st down sometimes and play action off some Murray carries.

Romo needs to play well...all the losses this season have poor QB play in common.

That opening drive could be key. If the Eagles just slice and dice us like they did on Thanksgiving, I could see doubt creep in again with this defense. Make the opening drive tough on Philly.

And I don't think you can sit in a soft zone all game and try to keep things in front of you. Eventually something will break free and we'll give up a big play or two even playing zone. I will be massively frustrated if Marinelli continues to go totally conservative on third and long with deep soft zones with massive holes in it and a 3 man rush. He needs to be a bit more aggressive this time around.

I am not suggesting we go bump and run man coverage with blitzes all game. But you can't sit in a deep zone with no pass rush and think Philly won't drop 30+ on us again. I know some think Kelly is overrated and overhyped but he's a good offensive coach and if we aren't mixing things up on defense, he's going to destroy us.

Offensively, I'd like to see us throw more on first down. Philly basically went straight run D on first down because they assumed that's what we were going to do.
