1. Nick Folk's missed FG. We all know now that it wasn't the holder.

2. The game planning and playcalling on the (Dive Right)x4 = FAIL on Goal to Go from the 1.

3. Jason Garrett, otherwise.

Sorry. I've been a Garrett supporter, thinking that it was a lack of execution on the players and such, but after watching Felix get sat down on the bench after ripping the opposing defense all the way down the field AGAIN, and after watching two weeks in a row where Romo has called better plays without a huddle than Garrett can call with a week's worth of film study and game-planning has gotten me back on the "Fire Garrett" bandwagon, as ridiculous as it may seem.

Worst part about it too is you can't use the "well it was prevent defense" excuse because in this week's last-stand drive, Romo & Co were working against the Chargers' base defense - they pressed our receivers and played the same defense they played all game.

What about Newman getting burned on 3rd and 12's? This defense is just as pathetic as the offense.

Blaming the playcalling is popular but if we'd run 2 fades and a run and didn't get in people would still blame the playcalling. The bottom line is we didn't get it. The offenseive line didn't do its job. The correct playcall is just score the damn ball.

Parcells was a joke. He let Sean Payton walk.

If we had Parcells and his coaching staff right now with this team, only God knows what our record would be. They would take out that stupid draw run play and actually run the ball consistently.

and Jerry let Tony Sparano walk. Your point? Our current coach should've been someone from the Parcells era.

The game changer was TNews piss poor effort on 3rd and 12. He gives up crucial 3rd downs every game and this one was the back breaker.

How was he supposed to keep Payton from taking a HC position?

Keys to the loss:

4 downs inside the 5 yard line with a chance to tie it 10-10, and nobody made a play.
Defense forces a turnover, offense doesn't make a play, gains 3 yards in 3 plays. Missed fg.
3rd and 12 in a tie game, nobody makes a play.
9 minutes to go, SD ball on their own 11, they run every down, nobody makes a play.

Coaching can only take these gutless losers so far. The onus is on the sackless, gutless players with 0 mental toughness.

BP didn't LET him leave....he wanted to be the HC and that was an opportunity he took. BP was upset with it.

T-New wasn't as much at fault as the scheme that we are running....having the players play 10 yards off when all they need is 6 is on the scheme....it allows the WR to run their routes......it also doesn't help that we haven't been gettng a pass rush either these last two weeks especially.

Drew Bledsoe.

This. Didn't Payton try to trade for Romo once he became the HC? He knew what Romo was and could be. Then comes along Garrett and retards Romo's growth.

Which one? There were two 3rd and 12s given up by Newman. Both led to TDs.

There is one player I want off this team more than anything and it is Newman. He is pathetic and has been pathetic for years.

We gave up big 3rd down plays and our offense only went 1 for 8 on 3rd down conversions.

The injury to Ware really sucked all the momentum out of everything. We weren't playing well and then we went 99 yards to even it up. Even though the D was not stopping them well to begin with, that really took the focus off. Natural for that to happen. I hope he has a quick recovery.

The scheme was zone but you still have to use common football sense. If there is no WR running short across your zone threatening the 1st down marker, you carry your coverage longer up the field with the deep WR. Newman essentially covered noone. That play was a back-breaker.

Tony Dungy just broke that play down and commented on Newman's technique on that play. Called it lazy. He said Newman should've jammed the receiver on that play yet he let him run right by him.
