Keys to Victory against the 49ers?

Our defense is built on getting pressure rushing 4 that plays downhill. SF, unlike TB, runs the ball consistently, meaning they can put pressure on the Dallas front 4.

TB secondary was busted tonight and they suck. The 49ers are 1st in INT and 5th in TDs.

They stop the run and generate INTs. They also blitz less than the Cowboys, meaning they don’t play into the Cowboys hands.

It’s a completely different opponent.

SF is RIPE for the upset. 11 straight wins and 6 straight with the star-kissed rookie.

But who have they really beaten? Miami? Seattle? They are the media darlings and their rep is earned— but overrated.

We OWE them for last year. Tonight’s W is a confidence boost. Time to repay the 9ers for last year.

Stop the run, keep Purdy in the pocket, rattle him all day, he will force it and miss or turn it over.
On offense stick to the run, short quick passes, keep Dak clean in the pocket.

I never saw Brady so off as he was tonight, great job by the defense. I was worried he might kill us with Evans running wild, but they couldn't get on the same page at all - I was loving that

Lifelong Cowboy fan but born, raised and still living in the Bay Area, so I watch a lot of 49er games. Lots of people here saying to pressure Purdy and hit him in the mouth. The thing is, it's hard to hit the guy. Purdy reminds me of young Romo; Purdy has a great pocket presence and he spins out of pressure and trouble. Many times it looks like the pressure is going to get him and he spins out escapes. He can take off and run too, and he's a lot faster than he looks.

I want to see him pumpkin. I'd love for our Defense to hit him hard, get a sack/fumble and force at least one INT. Really hoping the Cowboys can take down SF so I can listen to sports talk radio afterwards and listen to these blabbering idiots screaming and moaning how the world has ended now that their team has lost!!!!!

Along with my previous post, having some shorter fields to work with would go a long way against that defense. It will be difficult to have to go 75-80yds every drive. Turpin needs to do something……..

This is true. He is very good at scrambling and he plays like backstreet football by making plays out of nothing. Need to force him to make mistakes. Disguise coverages. He was very shaky in his first few possessions on Saturday. Like you I want us to win badly so I don’t have to listen to sports radio. The 3 remaining teams that are left besides the Cowboys, I really can’t stand.

Bahahaha! Seriously who was playing QB for Washington for the 26-6 beat down? Not saying its in the bag for the 9ers but if you think the Cowboys will be playing a typical rookie you haven't watched enough. Tampa Bay is nothing like the 49ers, hell they put 28 on Bucs by halftime. Beat Washington with much better QBs than Cowboys last game against them.
