The likelihood of Terry Glenn returning is seeming to get less and less as the days go by. Even if he does return, the likelihood that he would hold up for a season is still very low.

If Keyshawn were to step out of the announcing booth and back onto the football field again, would you sign him to the Cowboys again?

Even though he is slow as molasses, he has great hands and made some clutch catches for us when he was here. If Owens were to go down again with injury, he could fill the possession receiver role nicely.

It wouldn't be the sexiest WR duo in the league, but I would feel more comfortable with Keyshawn and Crayton than Crayton and Hurd/Stanback/Austin. He is still good for 600 yards/5 TDs.

No, no, no....him and T.O. don't agree as it is, leave that alone.

They have plenty of possession type receivers, they need a deep threat,

I loved Key the first time around, but I would have to pass. Not what we need right now.

Put the pipe down.

I'de rather have Dedrick Ward

LOL that's pretty sad. So for those who don't like the idea, are you comfortable with Crayton as the #1 with are WR prospects (Stanback, Hurd, Austin, Amendola) taking the 2nd and 3rd spot for a team looking to make a serious superbowl run, if Owens were to go down? We all know Keyshawn isn't the greatest, most explosive WR, but he can get the job done if needed.

I always loved Key -- I really thought he was a great leader on the team. But he's done. Done done done.

Key was the guy we should have gotten to replace 88 the year we traded for Galloway. Jerry just got tunnel vision on that one.

I know it's not his official position, but Witten would become the #1 WR if Owens went down again. Some could argue that Witten is the #1 option right now.

I'd rather have er uh oh errrrr relations with Rosie O'Donnell than have SlowShawn back.....

Goodrich will catch more passes this upcoming year than Keyshawn.

As much as I want Key to leave announcing, I wouldn't welcome him back to the Cowboys. I really just don't see how he could contribute.

.. I like what we have. I am going under assumption there is no Glenn. A veteran wideout might be smart because T.O. seems to miss time. Here are some UFA WR's as of today:

  1. Eric Moulds - 35 years old (nah)
  2. David Givens - 28 (maybe if he can pass a physical)
  3. Cedrick Wilson - 29 ( I can't rememeber if he was fast or not)
  4. Bryan Gilmore - 30 (nope)
  5. Peerless Price - 31 (no, oh wait he did catch that one long pass from Bledsoe)
  6. Koren Robinson - 28 (yes - come join our circus!)
  7. Eddie Kennison - 35 ( if you are desperate)
  8. Keenan McCardell - 38 (old, but not terrible)
  9. Aaron Moorehead - 27 (I think he is still hurt)
  10. Troy Walters - 31 (don't know)
  11. Troy Brown - 37 (nope)
  12. Tim Dwight -33 (sorry)
I see our wideouts as:

Owens
Crayton
Hurd
Austin
Amendola
maybe a vet like one above

Too many drops. A better return man than WR.

We need another #1 WR and he isn't it.

Umm......YES!!! Key is old, slow, and selfish. Receivers like Key can be found all the time now. If Owens goes down, we're screwed, might as well let the young guys get playing time instead of letting old man river steal their playing time.
