• Jerome Stanley, Keyshawn Johnson's agent, said Tuesday the ESPN analyst continues strongly to consider a comeback and has discussed the Dolphins as a possibility. Word is he wants to decide by mid-March.
WFOR-4 reported Johnson's former coach, Dolphins executive Bill Parcells, would be receptive to the ex-receiver making a comeback here. Johnson, 35, had 70 catches for 815 yards in his last season (with Carolina in 2006).

Do it Key. If I don't have to hear you on TV praising yourself any more I will be thrilled.

Keyshawn Johnson In Aqua And Orange?
Parcells Reaches Out To His Former Player
Reporting
Jim Berry
(CBS4)

Dolphins Vice President of Football Operations Bill Parcells is telling Keyshawn Johnson that if he un-retires he can have a job in Miami. Sources are telling CBS4 Sports that Parcells is reaching out to his former receiver in New York and Dallas about possibly joining the Dolphins.

Johnson worked with Parcells at ESPN in 2007 as a football analyst after being waived by the Carolina Panthers before the 2007 season.

Parcells coached Johnson with the Jets from 1997-1999 and later with the Cowboys from 2004-2005. He spent four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in which he was part of the team that won Super Bowl XXXVII.

Johnson was the overall number one pick of the Jets in 1996 coming out of USC. In his eleven seasons in the NFL, Johnson made three Pro Bowls, caught 814 passes for 10, 571 yards, and 64 touchdowns.

Actually he was a jerk when he was with Dallas too. I remember a few ridiculous unsportsmanlike penalties against him. He was a playmaker, though, no doubt about it.

Why is Parcells able to pick the players?

Why is the league allowing Parcells to pretend that he is not the GM and Coach?

Further proof that Parcells still thinks he can win with "his" players...
Is Dave Meggett unretiring too?

I figured Key would wind up in Miami for at least a year or so to help build them for Bill.
