They probably saw that Vick touchdown and -- having never paid attention to Jenkins before or since -- deduced he can't play.

Exactly.

The guys on this station just called Demarcus Ware "Marcus Ware", and Anthony Spencer as "Felton Spencer".

They also said Michael Irvin is supposed to be on with them, but he needs to get his own radio show.

I'm going to stop listening. I've never listened to a more ignorant sports talk station.
Felton Spencer? I thought it was Fletcher Somethingorother?

Haha and it was actually Boomer Esiasen that said that. I wonder who he's picking?

Boomer does a show here in NYC. Lets just say, he isn't a Cowboys fan. :laugh2:

That was my thought too.

I'm no expert on CB technique but I love the way he is able to recover and make a play.

Jenkins, in about a year or two will be the best corner in the NFL. He's fast, quick, has brilliant technique, amazingly smart on the field, aggressive, mean, almost intimidating.

Good luck going against the best.

I'm pretty sure it was "Felton".

They're such cowards. They patched into the Ticket, but only listened to them. Didn't have a dialogue with the hosts.

They were making fun of the callers, and the host...with emphasis on their Texas accents. At least have a sack like Philly radio hosts and have a dialogue with the sports talk station in the opposing team's city.

They must be absolute morons. I know Jenkins slipped a couple of times in the Philly game, but he is a stud. That just shows you how much these "experts" know when they see one highlight and develop an opinion based on that one play. Jenk will show them what kind of a talent he is on Sunday.

I dunno about that. I love the kid and I think he is probably top 5 now and will only get better. Although, Darrelle Revis in my opinion is the best and he too is only going to get better. Revis in my opinion, plays like he is velcroed on the receiver. Not only that, he can do it while watching the QB at the same time.

You see that pick he made in their last game? That was a brilliant piece of corner backing.

Being on the same level as Revis won't be too bad.

Yeah you've probably watched way more of him than I have. How much is he tested on a regular basis? I know they "for some stupid reason" throw at Jenkins all the time and he rarely gives up anything.

Lets just say he shuts down the best receivers in the league. This year in the two games the Jets played against New England. Game 1. Randy Moss 4 catches, 24 yards. Game 2. 5 catches, 34 yards.

Revis covered him *most* of the game. I believe some of those catches came when he wasn't on him.

I believe we played against Smith from Carolina, the entire Saints receiving core, DeSean Jackson, 3 TIMES, I'm not smart enough to remember the rest.

I like Moss, but usually if you stop his deep stuff, he's done. I know Owens is a shadow of his 29 year old self, so I think Jenkins is pretty good. Now he doesn't get drooled on by the commentators as Revis does, but that doesn't make him better or worst. Not trying to argue, just trying to figure out what makes him better outside of the couple of guys you just mentioned.

I would agree Revis is the best CB out there in my opinion. He is smart, is a great cover guy and plays physical. As for Jenkins I think he will be a special CB for the Cowboys for a good while. I have confidence anytime Jenkins is matched up one on one that he will win that battle.

Jenkins has been beat a few times (Maclin last week), but for the most part it's because he slips, or they are in a zone coverage. When he's playing man to man, he's stellar. I'd say by the end of next season he will be recognized alongside guys like Woodson, Revis, and Bailey.
