Cowboys | Team unsure of position for Davis
Fri, 9 Mar 2007 02:10:55 -0800

Jean-Jacques Taylor, of the Dallas Morning News, reporting for the Sporting News, reports the Dallas Cowboys have yet to decide whether OL Leonard Davis, who just signed a seven-year deal worth $49.5 million, will play right guard or right tackle. Some of that will depend on whether the Cowboys re-sign unrestricted free-agent OT Marc Colombo. The Cowboys would probably prefer Colombo at right tackle, where his great strength and size becomes a much bigger factor.

Coolness, even if Garrett is given play calling duty I'm sure he'd tap the brain of Sparano for a while.

Some people would complain if they were hung with a new rope.....That's why I always use the old dirty rough ones........:)

Personally, and I'm as excited about having Garrett here as anyone, I hope he and Sporano are at least co-play callers. I just don't see how someone who had such a great year calling plays could just be stripped of his duties and have them handed over to someone who has been coaching for 2 years.
