Pet Cat Funerals

Nice topic.

Leupke may get competition from Mahfa.

How about Deuce, seems he has been a pet cat, and not much bigger than one either. :muttley:
He will get competition from everyone. Can Schotty use him better than MM.

Really can't think of too many more from the past few years.
Maybe Cropper, some seemed to been high on him
Stephens, seemed to draw interest, maybe not as. pet cat, but he seems to show something, but also seems injury prone.

Maybe Greir, but no QB competition for him for a roster spot.
Agreed. But I think Grier is going back to the practice squad to save a roster spot. The Cowboys are probably just going with Dak and Milton on the 53.

I wonder if a guy like Demone Clark makes it onto the roster? He’s a guy that has great story but hasn’t shown to be much of a difference maker on the field.
He's a bit of an odd story...17 game starter in 2023 then relegated to 4th or 5th LB in 2024.

Mazi Smith. Not really my pet cat, LOL. But if he doesn't turn it around this season, he's gotta go!!
My actual pet cat is currently rehabbing....D. Overshown. And I hope he stays around for a while after he returns!!
Two more seasons, unless traded post June.

His contract is GTD.

I had hopes for Jalen Brooks last year, thinking he'd outshine Tolbert.

I doubt he plays much this year, if he's even on the team.

Leupke 6-1, 238
Mafah 6-0, 234

They used TE's in the FB role at times. I am sure Mafah may be given a chance.
Actually most places have fill mafah at 6 foot 1 229 and I saw one 6'1 234... Here's the thing let's not pigeonhole a guy into a full back role People are sure he needs to be able to block just like Zeke blocked really well big backs the dirty yard short yardage backs they typically block......

This will be up to Brian Schottenheimer and the offensive coordinator look maybe we don't need a full back maybe Hunter is the odd man out that's what training camp is for but he's no more a full back than people trying to make jaden blue just a third down back it's kind of odd that nobody thought Tony Pollard should only be a third down back he end up turned out to be a starter with the Titans they're the same type of player of course they're going to have rolls they're not going to be a three down back that never comes off the field but there are going to be a lot of guys cut off this team because the running backs we need a specific group but we don't need this many..

Everyone counting out vaugn I don't know I think he's been done wrong , the stuff Vaughn College the stuff he did in college , He should be able to translate a lot of it into the pros...

I think the problem here is he interpreter too much alike and he just doesn't have a spot here.. It's crazy how small turpin is and yet he doesn't never seen the misses games he doesn't seem to be hurt.. He's a tough little dude and I think somewhere DV can find a spot like that on another team.. He's not an experiment our coaching staff just didn't know how to use them and again we already had a guy like that but if he goes somewhere where they need a special team ace and they need a gadget back somebody they can use to get around the edges someone that's got a lot of moves to make things happen when they need em he can do those things I still contest right now he could do those things..

I'm thinking one or 2 of those WR's

Brooks is tough, but uhhh it's a numbers game, would we let go of Flournoy already???

All depends on if we pick up a vet/trade for someone, that really will cost someone their job. Does an UDFA step up and steal the spotlight from someone???
