Browns HC Mike Pettine and Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie were on hand for Buffalo edge player Khalil Mack's Pro Day workout.
Mack posted an unofficial forty time of 4.45 seconds on one veteran scout's watch, but likely clocked in the 4.50 to 4.55 range on others'. Rotoworld's Josh Norris ranks Mack as the No. 3 prospect in this draft. Mar 4 - 2:22 PM

I usually suspect home cookin with these type of 40 times, but it sure all but insure he is long gone by 16.

As expected there was a huge crowd at the Buffalo pro-day to see linebacker Khalil Mack. I'm told all 32 teams are in attendance, though I've received no official word yet.

I really, really like Mack. I think he's a terrific player.

He's football smart, football fast, plays strong, shows great speed and change of direction, and uses leverage well. I would be banging the drum for him hard if I thought there was any chance he would get near the 16th pick, but it won't happen.

I would take him before Clowney any day.
