Does any one know off hand how close Bueller has come to his kick back percentages he was aiming for? He seems very good to me thus far.

I don't remember what he predicted but I think he has 25 touch backs. I could be wrong on that number.

You are correct. He also leads the league at 34.7%.

Side note:
When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be about Refs.

That ranks him second. Atlanta's kicker has 27 touchbacks and a 39.7%.

I thought there was someone else. Funny thing, NFL.com doesn't list him in the Kickoff catagory.

I'm curious about those 2 recent squib kicks, one vs aints and again last night. I wonder if they are intentional? Both times they resulted in better field position for the other team. Maybe Beuhler scared the ball off the tee just as he was going to kick? :nervous:

I could have sworn that last nights' squib kick was only returned to the 18. I could be wrong though.

You know, you could be right because I haven't looked it up. Maybe I'm remembering something else.

He's a punter who kicks off (and a franchised punter, at that... he's really good).

The returner was downed well inside the 20, and I remember thinking that the squib helped the avg. starting position stat. The funny thing was the kick to the goal line, was returned out far better (over the 25?) The wind was swirling last night; the smoke from pre-game fireworks swirled for ten minutes.

His touch backs were amazing. The ball kept flowing backwards, and one was actually near the back of the end zone.
