Kick Returner

I was meaning in the event of kicking into the endzone which happens at least 3/4ths of the time.

I know what you meant. I just don't think giving up on kick returns should be an option. It's quitting and no one likes quitters.

Who should it be against the Bucs? How will you feel if it's still Felix?
No clue who it should be but I'll be a little disappointed if Felix is still back there.

That's pretty much how I feel. I understand the lack of depth but I'd like to see someone else back there giving it a shot. If Felix has to come back in a few weeks fine, but let's see if we can surprise ourselves with someone else. We don't have much to lose and we really can't get any worse.

LEQuan Lewis, I mean he was on a game day roster, over Beasley Mario butler who played last week, he's a special team player why not add returning to his resume I mean all he does is be gunner and was getting there pretty fast

I would go Harris too, but most likely Felix gets another shot or two. If I am on the Bucs coaching staff, I would have my kicker practice kicking to the 1 or 2 instead of deep in the endzone. That way it would force an inept Felix to run it out to the 15 every time.

Dwayne Harris is the answer

Thank you.. I have seen some really dumb answers so far. Dwayne Harris is the answer. The guy is dying to give 110% back there and instead we stick a guy with mental problems who tackles himself and fumbles.

It's funny, I hear all the time that the fans have no idea what they are talking about and that the coaches are the ones who know what is best for the team. That is real funny, because I know Dwyane Harris would be MUCH better at returning kick offs.

Felix has lost his burst plain and simple. They need to give somebody else a chance it doesn't even have to be Harris just someone good

we we really need to do is fire the special teams coach and let harris return kicks. We need someone else coaching special teams.

Did ya'll know phillips caused felix jones fumble. Text book hit. head on the ball:bang2:

he missed his block so he turned around right into felix who was carrying the ball like a loaf of bread in traffic:bang2: :bang2:

Far too often it seems like our guys on special teams don't know was they are doing.

I don't even see the point anymore on taking it out on the kickoff. Just down it and guarantee yourself the 20 and let your offense go to work. There's no point in risking a turnover/injury and getting the ball out in between the 15-25 yd line. The smart move is to down it in the endzone.

I have said this ever since the rule change. Why would you ever bring it out if it reaches a couple yards deep? We NEVER have a good returner and probably 90% of the time we are tackled short of the 20. So what's the point?

His name is Dunbar:bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

I thought Felix still had value to this team but through the first two games he just doesn't seem to have the same burst. Maybe his will to play is gone since he got benched but he's becoming a detriment to this team. I'd like to see Harris or Claiborne on returns for us to go with Tanner and Dunbar behind Murray and for us to just release Felix.

Yea i'm not too concerned with that. Special teams was a problem but kick returner was one of the least of them. Our defense gave up 20 points and we gave up 7 on a punt block. I'm more concerned with the offense and defense.

The defense really only gave up 17 10 was due to special teams. Really they gave up the same thing they did against the Giants difference is the offense was able to put up points
