I officially hate kickers. Watching Folk, Suisham, and Nate Kaeding miss crucial kicks for the Boys and Chargers, I can't stand them. We drafted Folk and for 2 years he was good to us. Where do we go from here? Do we bring Folk back and see if he's worked out of his issues? I doubt anyone one of us want to use another pick on a kicker.

I wanna sign that old geezer that was on ESPN a few years back just so we could one up Favre. The guy was like 70 and booting 45+ yard field goals or something like that.

Cut Suisham yesterday. Sign Folk today. Draft a kicker in April.

Tim Seder, Jon Hilbert, Billy Cundiff, Jose Cortez, The Sweeze (x2), Mike Vanderjagt, Martin Gramatica, Nick Folk... let me off this puke-inducing ride, please.

Folk used to be one of the best in team history, arguably the best. Further proving kickers are headcases, he could come back next year and be just as good as he was in Buffalo in 07 and then drop the ball on us late in the season when it counts. In fact, if we do bring Folk back, I'd bet that's exactly what will happen.

If you can't trust Kaeding, who was as good as anybody in the league this year, you can't trust any kicker. Including whoever we bring in this year. As long as we don't waste another draft pick...

Folk will come to training camp, you gotta think h would've made at least two of those kicks today.

Buehler has an off season assignment to diversify.

A kicker may be drafted in day two.

we're cursed at kicker
Frankly Dallas should be ballsy and say screw it, we don't kick, and go for it on fourth and short always when in enemy territory.

We have to get a quality Place kicker. I believe that if there is a GREAT place kicker in the draft he definitely should be picked in the 1st or 2nd round.

Or if there is a quality Place kicker as a free agent we should go after him and pay him as much as we pay a quality wide receiver or a quality Running back.

That one guy alone could win us 2-5 games a year.

I'm pretty certain taking a kicker in rounds 1 or 2 would signal the end of the world.

I agree 'montgod'...posted that earlier tonight in another thread: Stover is a solid vet. Indy will cut him in the offseason to make room for a healthy Vinatieri. However, 'Aikbach' gets the silver star for suggesting that we just don't employ a kicker. That's genius...hell, if it was desperation time and you needed one over fifty five yards, have Buehler give it a whirl. Other than that, I've reached the point of going for it all year long: man, that would be a fun and wild experiment if you think about it......

back to reality: Brett Swenson of Michigan State had a great four year career and could be had in the seventh round. Just a thought............if no vet can be found. Swenson made lots of clutch kicks and has a range out to about 53 yards.

Kaeding will be available next year. At least he can connect in the regular season and he doesnt have to face the Jets in the playoffs.

Doubt it...
Starting 2010 draft:

Day one:

First round

Day Two:
Second and Third Rounds

Day three:
4-7.

I'd trade a 2nd rounder for Kaeding or Akers

EEEEEWWWWWWWWW

Kaeding just choked the game away and Akers is an Egirl. No thanks.

Lindell or Longwell would be good options...though I'd never trade a second rounder for a kicker.
