Kicker Draft Value Rising?

I think you will start to see teams valuing kickers more than ever before. The extra points missed will be part of the driving force behind it.

More importantly if your kicker can consistently kick field goals 10 yards farther out than their kicker it is a huge advantage.

Dan Bailey is s huge part of Dallas' run so far. He is such a weapon for us!

I don't know if kickers will be getting drafted higher, but I could see the best free agent kickers cashing in. You don't really know what you have in a kicker until he's been playing for a few years and has made clutch kicks over and over.

Probably not getting drafted much higher but more might get drafted
Many don't get picked at all but more teams may throw a late pick at a kicker as the position has become much harder with the extra point now
