Ex-Commanders Kicker Suisham's comments after Skins released him....

Ex-Commanders PK Shaun Suisham Expressed Surprise Over Being Released
Gridironfans.com — ... me. I'm disappointed, obviously, but it has been a pleasure to be here." "I'm 18 of 21, the most accurate kicker of the history of the franchise with over 100 attempts and I'm released after a missed kick. But that is the way the business goes," Suisham said. "And I put myself in that situation because I missed a kick, absolutely. My hope now is that somebody's interested in a guy who's [85.7] percent on the year coming to their team." Source: The Washington Post ...

18/21 sounds better than what the folks #s

i dont know about suisham,he doesnt do well under pressure.I also dont want to give up on Folk;if we changing the kicker then we should IR him.

This might be a nice signing. This guy will be out to prove something. Actually he had been very good up to the Cowboy Game. I am starting to think let's sign him and even bring him in next year to compete with Folk or whomever. He might be needed this year especially heading into the Playoffs.

It's definitely better than Folk's. However, Suisham missed two against us to give us the game and then the one to allow the Saints to beat them. He cost them their last two games. It could have been an anomaly or he could have lost his touch just like Folk did.

He was cut because two of those missed kicks caused a loss to us. :laugh2:

or maybe he wanted to come back to Dallas and we paid him off bc we knew would be in this what the folk situation

The potential irony in this is enticing, isn't it?

The Commanders cut him after he costs his team the game against Dallas.

Then Dallas picks him up and he kicks a game-winning field goal against Washington.

It wasn't just that one kick. Let's not forget that we don't beat the Commanders if he doesn't miss two makeable kicks.

I was going to sit here and guarantee he hits that kick if it comes down to it...then I remembered he was in the same situation vs us and missed....twice..lol because we cut him first.

I don't want Suisham either... He's another head case. Get Grammatica in and try him out.

Romo doesnt hold well when he is the kicker...:laugh2:

I think Suisham is a closet Cowboy and had this planned all along.

Or he's a double agent and when signed tanks the game

:laugh2:

Suisham can't be any worse than Folk. Either way we're in a bad situation with the kickers. Damn kickers.

Certainly the optimist's perspective on the potential irony.
