Wade Phillips said, banging his hand on the podium - "We're ready, it's time!"
Wade Phillips believes the Cowboys have taken steps to improve on the mistakes from last season.
Phillips tells the media that Tony Romo has worked very hard in the off-season. Similar to the way John Elway worked when Phillips was with Denver.
Phillips also acknowledged the team has a long way to go.

We all know in advance that it's not really going to tell us anything of substance. For most of us it's still something fun to listen to, but those who don't agree are free to ignore it.
If people are going to be this negative now, imagine if we lose a game or two.

Also mentioned that it's not because of the running backs, since we have such a good stable of backs. Again, more emphasis on the O-line from this press conference (if you're reading between the lines).Chocolate Lab;2857356 said:Back to the PC, Wade says we had a top offense two years ago but not a top running game the last two years. Says we've been in the 20s and we need to get into the top 10, and that's going to be an emphasis.
I know we pretty much knew this, but it's good to hear they have a definite goal to improve that area of the team.
