All of the above should not be back next season under any circumstance, including a three game win-streak to the playoffs (not going to happen).
Two of the above should retire outright.
One of the above should not be allowed on the plane home.
And one has a zero-value to anyone as an NFL coordinator. (Hint: It's not Kiffin I'm referring to)
What I witnessed tonight in the wake of the New Orleans Saints game was a team that is lucky to have won 7 NFL football games in a season, and while a very good initial offensive gameplan was in place; there was nothing except the same tired play calling excluding the most dangerous offensive weapon on your team.
I saw a very competent QB make a few bad throws and because of that had no chance to win the game, I saw a HOF TE drop a key pass in a situation where he simply could NOT drop the ball under any circumstance.
I saw one man give effort on a defense and that person is probably not long for this league despite his football savvy because his body will not hold up. I saw another man with every physical tool in the box play like he was on Xanax. I saw a washed up DE who has lost his lean entirely, and has to rely on a QB meandering back to him to get a hit on a QB.
I saw a disgraceful performance by all except a RB, who on other days looks like he's counting the days until his rookie contract is up.
I saw organizational failure. And it came against a very, very average Bears team who other teams have had little problem scheming away at least some of the weapons they possess.
The Garrett hire was a mistake.
The Kiffin hire is an unmitigated disaster of biblical proportion.
And DeMarcus is done folks. You will never see him approach 15 sacks again in a Cowboys uniform.
