Haven't really talked much about this guy but he is a player that might be an option for us at OLB.

6'3" 238 lbs. 40 4.74, (low 4.67), 20 2.71, 10 1.66, Vert 30 1/2, Broad 9'9", Shuttle 4.18, 3-Cone 6.96.

His 40 time is OK, however, his Shuttle and 3-cone times are among the best of all the OLBs and he plays ILB for Oregon.

The one drawback I see is that he's older then the others. He RedShirted and then had an Injury Redshirt year so he's a 6th year guy.

Seen a couple scouts who like him and others who are kind of meh. I think he could be OK in the right system

I think part of the reason for that is because NFL scouts don't like him as a fit for MLB in the NFL. However, as a 43 OLB, I think he could be a real nice player. If you look up Crazy Mofo in the Dictionary, I think you might see a picture of him.

I like him but depends on what round. I've seen him anywhere from rounds 2-4. Wouldn't touch him in the 2nd personally, but 3rd round isn't a bad value. This draft is actually pretty deep for guys who could start for us at SLB ( maybe not now with Durant).

I'll say this about Alonso - he has good ability in coverage and he plays all-out. I love the way he chases down plays. He has a pretty nice skill set with decent size, decent agility, good coverage, can play the run, can blitz and plays through the whistle with great hustle.

I wouldn't mind him as a late round draft pick if he is still on the board. We do need some young LBs to fill out the roster.

When I watch this kid, and I'm not saying he is the same player here, he reminds me of a young Brian Urlacher. I watched Urlacher play here at UNM and I have to say that their games do look similar at comparable stages of development.

I don't know that I would consider him in the 1st or maybe even the 2nd but I would consider drafting him. If he's not there, then he's not there.
