I know that this has been written about to death, but do we ever pass when Romo audible's out of a play????? Teams show us a defensive formation we "kill Kill Kill" and thy just load up on a running blitz??? Is that what Romo is talking about, we dont adjust???

Its just one of those amazingly predictable features of this offense. Everyone, you, me, the Steelers, the Ravens, the Eagles, some guy in India, my grandmother, and a billion Chinese all know what is coming when Romo yells "kill, kill, kill!"

Its like in poker where you learn the "tells" of your opponent. Snapping the ball with 1 second left on the play clock is another tell, as is the 2nd and 10 shotgun draw.

I've monitored this the entire season and I dont think we've passed once after Romo audibles "KILL KILL KILL". If a regular joe watching from home can pickup this tendency, how many other tendencies were obvious to opposing defenses pouring over hours of game film??????

if you want to compare it to a poker tell it would be the same as showing everyone you hand before placing your bet :bang2:

I thought when Romo said Kill, Kill, Kill he was just repeating what he heard the fans say in the stands? :laugh2:

I've made, I think, at least two threads on this. It's just bizarre. I mean, I really wonder whether Jason Garrett belongs in the NFL at all, much less as an offensive coordinator. The guy may be the worst offensive coordinator in the NFL.

Every time I hear him do that I think of a song by the industrial band ministry and they sampled the kill kill kill line from the movie full metal jacket. And just like others have said, it is always followed by a running play.

Just once I would like to see them say Kill Kill Kill and instead of doing a running play do a play action fake.

On another note. We saw the play with Jason Witten throwing the ball in the last game but have we done a flea flicker play since Tuna left?

Bledsoe used the same audible when he was here. See, Parcells and Sparano haven't been forgotten!! LOL!!

I like Ministry. TV II is my favorite song of theirs. I don't believe a faster song exists.

We dont audible out of anything.

The worst recent example was the 4th down play against the Ravens. We had that stupid screen setup to Roy Willaims but the Ravens were playing press coverage. Everyone knows you cant run that screen when the DB is pressing as there is no room to execute the play. So what happens??? ROmo throws to Williams who got drilled for a -4. Should have audibled off that right at the line

I'm pretty sure the "kill kill" audible has been in there since the Parcells years though. I remember Bledsoe doing it, for sure.

It must go though. I haven't seen any other team do anything like it. Yet we've been doing it for 4 years (at least that I can remember).

Brain,I seriuosly don't think we have enough time to set up a flea flicker. You noticed the 'reverse' to Owens yesterday...slow developing, and an Eagle almost snuffed it out. Need more time and protection.

Using the word as an audible is not the problem. Only running after using it is the problem. I don't remember only running after "kill kill" when Sparano called the offense.

Yeah, maybe not. I just remember Bledsoe's yelling it.

Maybe hot routes were the audible sometimes, quick slants. I can't quite remember, but you could be right.
