Martindale vs Moore/Rush looks like a mismatch in NYG favor

We will see on this, Martindale loves to blitz, I'll stick by what ive been saying...KM knows how to beat the blitz its the rush 4 cover 7 he is having a problem with..should be a good gauge to see if NY come sheavy at Rush and the offense can make them pay.

There's only a few Dawgs on this team, so that tough stuff is not for this team...they're finesse.

This had definitely been the case, but the D has shown some teeth this season and even the o-line seemed to have some growl last week. I'm hoping things are changing for the better.

MM and the FO spent the offseason talking about making the roster tougher physically and mentally.

This game is a good litmus test. Hostile environment. Primetime game. Backup QB.

This is by all accounts— a very winnable game. NYG are an improving team— but they are certainly not among the elite teams of the NFC.

Is Dallas tougher this year? Do they possess a killer instinct? Do they want to punish teams and take their lunch money? This is a good game to start proving it. Run the ball. Exert your will at the LOS. Control the clock. Stop Saquon. Get after Jones.

Yes...and this is the 3rd straight good game the Cowboys will lock horns in.

Directional growth is strong and stronger for this game.

If he is in decent shape and ready to roll— he should be a nice upgrade at LG which can only help Biadasz

My concern is whether or not the passing attack can be consistent and dangerous enough to keep an aggressive NYG from crowding the LOS and run blitzing every down and putting us behind the chains.

Can Rush/Moore do enough throwing to back them off? If so— then our ground game should be a factor. If not— then I think it will come down to field position and hoping our D can force Jones into some mistakes and turning the ball over a few times

Not only are the Cowboys linemen playing better than expected but they’re about to face a team that really hasn’t been able to get after the quarterback. In their Week 1 win over the Titans, the Giants had just one sack on Ryan Tannehill. Then in Week

2, Baker Mayfield was sacked two times. For some measure, Dallas already has eight sacks in two weeks compared to three for the Giants.

New York is hopeful that both Azeez Ojulari and Kayvon Thibodeaux will return to the field on Monday, and if they do, it will be much tougher on this line. However, they’ve proven they can give their signal-caller time and should be able to continue doing so even if the young pass-rushers return.

We had the talent and health last year. It wasn’t a lack of talent that caused us to lose to SF.

It was a lack of will power, grit, intelligence, discipline, execution, and coaching.

We are less talented this year… but if we can get better in those other departments, we can actually theoretically produce a superior product on the field.

Of course— in theory communism works lol

Yep, this was a game defined by the saying games are won and lost in the trenches. I thought Dallas owned both lines of scrimmage.

The DL and OL were nasty and took the fight to the Giants all nite long. Hopefully they build on this identity

Defense is tougher and the Oline is playing well.

SF was not “more talented” than Dallas. They were tougher, more disciplined, and took it to us for 3 quarters.

Even after the 14 penalties, the undisciplined play, the poor execution etc… Dallas STILL almost cane back and won.

You will NEVER be able to convince me we lost at home to SF bc they were simply more talented than us, and we had some talent deficiencies along the DL lol
