I like this guy for some reason. He always seems to step in and play decent when given a chance

I think when it comes to Livings and Bernadeau, one of them will be cut.

This is possible but only if Leary takes one of the starting jobs from either of them. If BB thinks Kowalski could be the swing guard then there would be no reason to keep Livings or Bernadeau as a backup, especially if Arkin is showing something.

I'm a big Kowalski fan. He played well filling in at center as a rookie, but hasn't seen the field since.

I don't care who plays on the OL (or at any other position) as long as whoever it is gets the job done, but I think it'd be cool if Killer were to break into the starting five. Be nice to have a young, athletic offensive line that can protect Romo and execute the zone scheme Callahan is teaching.

Smith - Kowalski - Frederick - Leary - Free

Hopefully Free returns to his 2010 form.

I have high hopes that Leary will win one of the starting G spots.

Amen. Get rid of at least one of those bums.

Livings was far from a bum last year.. if anyone wants to be realistic that is.

I've believed KK could start for us since 2 years ago though.. like some already said.. he seems to do well every chance he gets. Not sure who's wife he porked that he's not being given a chance to be a bigger part of our OL.

Hope he stays healthy, this looks like a good opportunity for him given the injuries. I'm pulling for him and Leary to take both OG spots

That would be nice to see, provided both Killer-K and Leary can prove to be true upgrades; and Killer has actually played - and played decent - in real NFL games before, so at least there's that.

Yeah for Killer.

I've always been impressed with him from the first time I saw him come in as a rookie Center in the preseason and just destroy LBs on the second level to spring some runs.

I hope Broaddus is right. Is he generally on/off with his OL evaluations?

I think the plan with Bernie was to put on some muscle and be a stop gap player for a couple years. The guy played hurt last year and had surgery before he ever played a down, I'd be surprised if they gave up on him that quick. But he aint helpin his cause with more injuries thats for sure.

I am not a doctor or a trainer in this league and I mean no offense when I say this but it appears that
Nate Livings and Ronald Leary are closer to returning to practice just from what I have seen in their rehab workouts.

With that being said, until they do return, Kevin Kowalski has really done a nice job of filling in while they have been out. What you have to remember about Kowalski is that throughout his career, he has filled in big games before. I remember well a victory in San Francisco and a Monday night game against the Giants so for him, this is nothing new.

Going into this camp, on my two-deep board, I thought there were questions whether he was the ninth or tenth linemen on the roster depending on how many they were willing to keep.

I've been hoping to hear some positive news about Kowalski. This was really nice to read. I know the amount of youth would probably be a bit risky, but how great would it be if Leary, Frederick, and Kowalski ended up being the interior line? Throw in Costa, Bernadeau, and Livings and we have some decent competition on the interior OL. Hopefully they bring out the best in each other.

I believe that there is improved overall talent and depth on this team. Barring another injury-fest like last year, I think this team will contend.

Some people were bashing him. I thought he looked good when he played in 2011. Hope he becomes a 1st teamer.
