Kimbo Slice, one of the most recognizable names in MMA fighting, died Monday night at the age of 42.

The former Bellator star and Bahamian-born boxer died of heart failure after being admitted to a hospital near his home in Coral Springs, Fla., earlier on Monday, where he had been in critical condition.

Shame, really liked him. How he overcame to make something of himself was nothing short of amazing. Always seemed to be very classy and family oriented guy. He seemed to be very genuine and faithful to his beliefs and family. Kimbo may not have been near the fighter in public that Ali was but Ali wasn't near the man in private that Kimbo was.
