A knockoff/bootleg jersey is not a generic jersey.

A walmart jersey can be considered generic. Not an illegal representation of an authentic nfl licensed piece from china.

not looking for an illegal representation. Just need a glorified tshirt that says Bryant on the back so my kid will be happy. And since he grew out of his last two... I don't feel like dropping $100 for a shirt he will wear for maybe 6-12 mos.

I still don't see what the issue is? Who cares? There are plenty of knock offs of designer things. This is no different from a "folex" or other knock off.

Lol no, why I should I settle for an inferior product? Especially one that is still way overpriced. $100 for a jersey with the numbers and name screen printed on? I'll pass.

Plus you do know the actual NFL licensed jerseys are made in china right? So no idea what agenda you're trying to push...unless you work for Nike or something.

Lol @ my agenda.

They are made in China. Wash your knock off jersey a couple times and compare it to a legit authentic jersey and you'll see the quality difference. I see them all the time and if you can't tell the difference you either have poor eyesight or are lying to yourself.

Just because there are other knock offs out there doesn't make it right.

But do what you gotta do.

Ok my bad, I thought you were going to push some taking away jobs from Americans agenda or something.

Anyway, my jersey that I got from China really isn't bad at all. Sure if you're close up and inspecting the thing you're going to find some imperfections, but overall it works just fine for me. And why would you wash a stitched jersey at all? I take mine to the drycleaner a few times a year depending how much I wear it.

I bought both of my jerseys in the off-season - authentic Reeboks - for $30 apiece. I have a white Dez and a blue Romo. If you subscribe to the Cowboys official store newsletter, they announce those sales periodically.

Bought the Dez this year and the Romo last year

But do what you gotta do.

I am genuinely curious as to why it matters? I cant think of what is morally or ethically wrong with a generic. Its one thing if its a patent infringement.. but this is just a glorified tshirt that looks like the jerseys the players wear.

I mean - are generic drugs "not right"? What about those kits to make a mazda look like a Lambo? Is there something inherently wrong with that?

You got such a good deal because the NFL jerseys are no longer made my Reebok and they were selling off stock. Not saying anything is wrong with that because I would have jumped all over that too, but you will never find an authentic Nike for anything less than like $175. No matter what time or year of the sale.

Thanks. I actually ordered already. Due to the $20 shipping, I ordered two. Got a Lee and Bryant for him (the Thanksgiving blue/white edition. Bryant is the Nike version, Lee is Reebok). All together it was still less expensive than one from the shop cowboys store. Give him one for his bday, one for Christmas!

Thanks, but I dont see youth jerseys? He is only 8.

Beautiful Boxer in your avatar. Looks almost identical to our Boxer. He/she looks fairly young. How old and what's the age? Our Boxer's name is Cooper. Probably weighs in at 80 plus pounds. Dang near lost him May 12th. Found out he had a tumor growing on his spleen that was cancerous. He was bleeding internally - blood dumping into his stomach. One emergency surgery and 5 grand later, he's luckily still with us. They only gave him a six to eight week window. That was over 5 months ago.

Can't help but love those Boxers.

Bought a Dez jersey off a sweatshop website I bought some Jordan's off of last year and just tried to access the site from my bookmarks only to see it's been shutdown by homeland security. I'll buy bootlegs for now on since the league doesn't even donate proceeds of the breast cancer apparel like they said they do.

Yes you will. All you have to do is look.

Agree, the sporting goods store in my town marks all the Authentics down around March just to clear inventory. I almost bought a Peyton Manning back in 2011 to just have for later on when he becomes a HOFer but didn't, kicking myself now because it was only $50.

Looking to buy a Dez for my son. He out grew the Witten and Romo ones really quickly, so I would rather not buy another expensive one. Anyone know a site were I can get one reasonable?

Also - just laughs:

That was BC it is Reebok and stores were basically giving them away due to Nike taking over. A lot of stores sold the $80 Reebok replicas for $10. But that isn't the usual markdown. A normal off season markdown is about $20 bucks off. And stores don't include Nike jerseys during B.o.g.o etc BC of Nike policies.

Reebok still had another season on there deal at that time, Peyton just never wore the Colts uni again.
