I think he can really effect the passing game of opposing teams more then any other Linebacker in this class and for me our #1 priority going into the offseason is getting better coverage from our linebackers.

He may only end up being a 3rd down and special teams guys but when Aaron Rodgers is completing pass after pass after pass I think a guy like this could get to some of those short routes over the middle that are difficult for most linebackers to get to.

The 1 hand shouldn't be an issue unless an INT presents itself.

He is a pass defender. Can cover very well and can get after the QB.

I like his heart and he's a feel-good story, but unless it's a 6th or 7th round luxury pick, there are dozens of guys I'd rather have

Special teams demon who could play LB if used correctly. I'd take him in the 5th round.

I'd love him in the 4th....I think he might actually end up being a quality NFL LBer. His hand hardly affects his play and if he had it he'd be one of the top LBers. Absolute FREAK athletically.

if we didn't have jaylon. i'd be all for it..but having two semi-disabled linebackers just makes me a little iffy.if he's still there in the late rounds sure. but nothing before the 4th

I agree with you but we desperately need a linebacker that can effect the pass game and I think he can do that at a high level. I would invest a 3rd in a linebacker that we can put on the field on 3rd downs with Lee that can block some passing lanes and cut off angles.

I don't want him on the field on 1st and 2nd but a Nickel Linebacker and a guy that's on the field late in the 4th quarter for pass defense I think we are desperate for and he's worth it.

I’d be happy if we took him with our 4th, wouldn’t be mad if we took him with our 3rd.

The kid can play, Dane Brugler lists him as a 3rd or 4th round pick. I think we draft at least two LBs, I could definitely see Griffin as one of them (or Darius Leonard of South Carolina) if he is available in the 4th.

Another interesting note on Brugler's guide is that he has Tremaine Edmunds as the 15th player in the draft, so he could certainly fall to our pick. Getting him at Mike (or Derrick Johnson after the draft) along with a guy like Shaquem Griffin would mean we have way better LB depth than last year.

the kid is good, inside and out with or without a hand.
happy to have him and if he lasts to the fifth round its a shame

You would like him until the first time a running back ran right through his tackle because he didn't have two hands to bring him with.
This game is challenging enough for players with two fully functional hands.
Don't fall for the feel good story.

This guy is a better LB with one hand than some of the other Lbs in this draft even if they had three arms and hands.

Guys heart and spirit will rub off on other players on a team. He would run through the proverbial brick wall for you.

And as much as people over sold due to a feel good story.... I think he is actually under rated and under estimated... the kid really is talented but people just want to focus on him having one hand.

At the very least he would be a special teams demon and backup player.

I would not use a draft pick on a guy without a hand. This is the NFL. Don't get soft on me....
That was my initial thoughts on the matter at first also,,,yet I'm backing off that more & more every day after hearing things being said like " would be fastest on the team" " day #1 player" & this is the main selling point
" multi-positional player of great versatility" you can never have enough of those.
