That the Giants get to play the Eagles twice without McFlabb and several starters and when they have no chance of making the playoffs as well as the Oakland Raiders in the final week who have no shot at playing in the postseason and have decided to play their backup QB now..

Not to mention they got an extra home game.
And it was against the worst team in the NFC South (New Orleans) meanwhile we got matched up with the best (Carolina).

Things are falling in place for them as the iggles might just have mailed this season in...

oh... and PLEASE don't mention the extra home game...

I think it was Sheman on FoxSports on XM last night said that Jones, Lurie and Snyder are quietly fuming that the NYFG got an extra home game...

They got a good draw, the way it played out. But on the other hand, they play 3 of 4 on the road, and they've sucked on the road all year.

Did the gints get to keep all the revenue from the game ( tix and concessions) or did some of it go to the saints?

Skip Bayless says we were "lucky" to win it all in 1995 'cause Green Bay knocked off SF for us.

Skip Bayless is lucky that Tui aint around to make him squeal like a pig any longer. I don't think Jimmy would be around to pull his bacon out of the fire anymore.

Tui should have flushed him when he had the chance.

Kind of like EVERYTHING that fell into place for the Cowboys in 2003.

Exactly. I could see them having a little better team but a worse record next year.

At Carolina, home vs. New Orleans. What's the difference, really?

Philly with McNabb when they were 3-1, or without when they are 4-11, what's the difference?

The Giants didn't get any breaks.

The Saints got the home team share of the ticket revenue, the Giants got the road team share. As for parking and concessions at Giants Stadium (which almost certainly topped $1 million) I never heard anything. I know there were donation stations set up outside the stadium and the Giants pledged to match whatever was collected. The $1 million probably helped toward that.

Even if they ended up losing a little money that week, it was more than worth it for the extra home game. Not even a division leader would prefer to play on the road, and as division leaders go, the Giants are a horrible road team. An eighth road game would have almost certainly meant another road loss.

The Giants are 1-3 on the road this season.

Yeah, but after we win the division, we will be saying. Hey Giants, you even had an extra home game and still couldn't win the Divison. Just the opposite of how we will feel if we lose by 1 game. No, it's not right, but we can't do anything about it. Just like Pittsburgh couldn't change the coin flip in Detroit.
