King, Brown and McAdoo are keepers for sure

I hate saying this before but we should have signed Austin Davis. I said it when the Rams released him and I'm saying it again.

Showers can't win games for us.

We don't have a choice but to keep at least 2 of these guys.. people actually think we'll go into the season with 3 corners?

I think Brown is a keeper for sure but there's room for doubt about the other two.

I wish Deon King was 10-15 pounds heavier. Love his instincts and ability to strike, but with his lack of size, he will get beat to a pulp as a LB.

Brown is a lock. McAdoo I would keep over Ryan Russell.
Agree King was my pet.

McAdoo only did anything against third stringers. He probably gets kept due to suspensions.

Brown was a lock but put the icing on the cake. He is our #4 CB. Olatoye was 5th going into this game but got abused. Swanson fared MUCH better in this ONE game.

King and Akunne were both very active tonight.

I was impressed with Akunne. He was making 1 on 1 tackles in the open field and showed some "pop" hits too. I hadn't really noticed him much before, but stood out against lesser talent.

Wow. All this after game 4 of the preseason. Talk about the last thing you just saw. Anyways, Brown is a lock. I also thought before this game that Olayte??? was going to be on the roster but now I think they might keep Swanson because of his return skills. They may just keep 4 corners too.

Brown's spot never was in doubt given his strong training camp. All he did during these preseason games is earn more trust and perhaps more playing time.

Given the issues at LB, King may be one of the very last guys to make the roster.

Maybe Swanson or someone not on this team right now. He was tested last night and didn't look very good.

He's a 4th/5th down roster CB. He's shown enough both in regular game action last year and this preseason to make the team.

what say you?
It will be easy to keep King and McAdoo on the practice squad.

You might have missed the plays the preseason were King was easily boxed out even by a TE.

Brown is a lock.

King was everywhere and then some...constantly sticking folks...

Okoye and Swanson played well too.
I like what I've seen of Swanson. I think he has a good future ahead of him. Just hope it's with the Cowboys.

Maybe but he didn't help himself last night by getting beat on almost every play when the Texans were targeting him.

Brown is a clear lock. Easy to see why we had a 4th round grade on him.

Yes.

Keep the center (Looney?) and right tackle (Witzmann?) as well. Action Jackson is a must and Swanson over Oh-lay-Oh-lay..
I don't see anybody signing Witz to their 53 (i.e. Easy to keep on PS).

You're probably right but I would like to keep him around, if only on the practice squad. I saw him play well at times and I think there are some tools to work with.
