Actually happy for Derrick Henry. 1600 yard season, headed to the playoffs with a great coach and a top 5 team. He would have thrown away the end of his career had he signed in Dallas. Really wanted to sign him, but even he couldn't have extinguished Jerry's dumpster fire.

Pretty much a lock for HOF now. Two 1,500+ seasons and a 2,000 yard season and now 100+ TDs.

People regret not signing him, I regret that we didn't draft him when we had the chance.
his first couple of years were pretty meh. He would have been roasted and fried here

If his career had not been so little that time period, been with a team that featured the run with a good o line, he might have challenged Emmitt.

He was splitting carries his first couple seasons with Murray. Henry just isn't that type of back, while he can break one at any time, you also want him wearing down defenses.

I hope the Ravens run the table. I love Henry and the one and only Lamar Jackson who should be the MVP this year but likely won’t be. No one can beat the Ravens when they are ON!

Eh, the bar was lower in 2016.
The team was 2 years removed from Murray and experienced the Randle & McFadden show the year prior-which still had decent success overall with the clown car of QB's that year had.
If taken in the 2nd, there wouldn't of been a super high expectation of him and he would of split carries with Alf Morris.
And with how dominate the line was in 2016, even Trent Richardson could of gotten 1k+ yards here. lol

They could. I would make them about fourth as regards favorites to win it all after the Chiefs, Bills, Detroit

I'm old enough to remember when folks would argue "Henry just had one good season..." in defense of Zeke.

In a related note, has anyone heard from RonaldT24 or SteveTheCowboy lately?

Well to be fair, Lamar shouldn't have won MVP last year

Last year the competitiors were fairly meh.
Do agree that he has a better case this year. But Burrows with no defense has been awesome; and Allen also up there. and then of course there is Barkley.

No doubt he has a better case this year, but last year definitely not

Who should have? The candidates were pretty bad. Next best candidate was Purdy and he would’ve been the worst MVP of all time. The candidates this year are amazing.

These guys would’ve won MVP last year with the seasons they’re having:
1. Allen
2. Jackson
3. Burrow
4. Barkley
5. Goff
6. Darnold

I would argue about Darnold beating out Jackson last year; it would have been close.
Darnold has been so much better this year than any previous year; it will be interesting to see what he does in the playoffs
this is his FOURTH team

Just finished watching him play against Cleveland. All I can do is shake my hand on the Jones' not going after him in the off season.

1921 yds and 16 TDs
and he just turned 31

Jethro is beyond stupid
