He's about the least impressive of the big name guys out there doing it, in my opinion. And, yeah, you have to question the worth of rankings that change dramatically in some cases after just one year in the league. I know this stuff is just content that's manufactured for fun, but really, theres' a draft pick and there's the job the coaching staff does developing talent. You can't really separate those two easily after one season.

Plus, it's pretty obvious from his review that he didn't put nearly the work into watching the play on the field once the players get into the NFL that he (or others) did when the players were coming out of college. He's probably just looking at snap counts and going off of some recollections for however-few hours he ended up putting in on this.
There was a draft analyst a few years ago that was terrific. After only a year or 2, he was hired by an NFL team. I can't think of his name at the moment but I wish another guy like that would start putting out draft reviews.

He was a scrub on a bad defense. On a defense with NFL talent he's not even on the field.

I think that's why Kiper treated him accordingly.

Go down with the ship.

In reality he was a very versatile LB who you could plug in anywhere on a below average defense that was 2nd in the NFL in takeaways.

If the draft happened over today Hitchens is a guy who moves up the draft board from his pick.

A far cry from your "he would have been there in the 7th" nonsense.

Hitchens was the only thing keeping me from giving the Cowboys an A and I was wrong about that. I still wish we kept our 3rd round picks. I like Lawrence but would have liked Kony Ealy and Trai Turner more.

Agree with him on the Giants as well. Initially, their draft didn't look so hot but a few of those players were much better than I expected.

Ya Carolina hit it out the ballpark with Ealy and Turner. Not to mention Tre Boston played well as safety.

Would you keep Martin at OG or move him to RT with turner playing OG

I just remembered, the guys name was Wes Bunting.
