I see 5 QB's named. At some point the brain trust at VR is going to make a move. It might be time.

None of these QBs excite me
It used to be that every year there were 3-4 great college QBs today actually performed like that
Not any more

Kind of like this kid . Ezekiel Elliott* RB Ohio St.--Dallas might have to trade up to get him next year, after they win the Super Bowl.

I think they really wanted to do it this year. There just wasn't anything there.
I kind of got that impression also. If one they liked just fell in their laps we take him but we weren't moving to get one.

It's definitely a lot deeper in top end QB talent than this years. This was a historically bad QB draft. Not the ideal time to try to get the heir apparent.

That's a fair amount of Safeties, I hope one of them falls to the end of the first round!

I had us taking a Guard to replace leary with one of our picks in rounds 1-3 but due to the Collins signing that is not needed. Heres to hoping for RB, DB, DT in the 1st 3 rounds In no particular order.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I think the list is a little misleading though. Cravens, for example, will probably be a linebacker and is switching this upcoming season.

It's interesting to see Goff and Hackenberg rated higher than Connor Cook. Goff has a lot of talent, as does Hackenberg, but Cook, IMHO, is the better player. Hackenberg throws too many interceptions for my taste.

I think it will D again.

Logic: With the exception of an ultra elite talent we will go cheapish at RB. Given that we won't want to use a first round pick on a RB we have no intention of signing after the first contract.

I see the QB's we would want being gone late one.

We could draft DE again if Hardy walks. LB could always be a target especially if we let Ro go. We have looked at a lot of first round LB's the last 2 years. We could always use another CB especially if Carr is gone or take one and move Jones to FS. Cover S could be a need since we haven't had one since before the internet.

I think it is WAY to early to even think about it.

Hardly. It's never too early and it's always relevant. From Melly Mel's intro to this first Big Board for 2016....

There are hundreds (thousands?) of hours of work to be done on the 2016 NFL draft class, but as is custom, I have a first look about 355 days early. The usual question I get before you read this one: How was last year's offering? Actually, not terrible, at least at the top of the board. About 52 weeks ago, I had Jameis Winston at No. 1; Marcus Mariota at No. 4; Leonard Williams at No. 5; Amari Cooper at No. 6; Brandon Scherff at No. 7; Dante Fowler Jr. at No. 8; and Andrus Peat at No. 9. A couple of top-10 guys who fell dramatically were No. 3 Randy Gregory (off-field issues) and No. 2 Cedric Ogbuehi (knee injury), but both of those weren't about football.

I see 5 QB's named. At some point the brain trust at VR is going to make a move. It might be time.

At the same time 5 were talked up as 1st round prospects last year with Petty and Hundley considered first round prospects as well as Cook.

I think the talent is better at the QB position this. I don't think you will as many faders as you did with the overrated Pac 10 class last year.

Dont know if there is a number 1 overall type. At first glance it looks comparable to 2014 where it was poor with elite prospects but rich with tier 2 guys. That could really benifit us if QB is in the docket. A Bridgewater or Carr could be there in the late first or a Garapollo could be there in the late 2nd
