We can't allow another team to have them now that we've developed them into such productive players.

I mean Osa has 3 sacks this year. Which I believe is a record for a starting 3 tech.

Add in Golston's 2 sacks and 2 TFLs and the numbers become filthy.
OSA is just too small; we cannot give him all that many snaps as he will wear down
let him go

OSA is a DT you do know that right ? He’s not expected to get double digit sacks from the interior . Anyone half paying attention sees Golston & OSA will have to be replaced when you let them walk .

Unless you want to go for these cheap vet castoffs next spring because you only have so many draft picks to plug holes on a 5-7 club,
Osa is a starting 3 tech. 3 sacks in over a year and a half is unacceptable. His job is to collapse the pocket and get to the QB.

He's put up mediocre backup production his entire time here and should not even be considered for a 2nd contract.

This DL is pathetic and you don't change that by bringing back the same failed players.

I don’t see him going in the first. He’s had some problems staying healthy and has some off field stuff and first couple years didn’t take football seriously.
He is a legitimate top 25 player by all the media scouts

If we stayed in the 10 - 15 area in the first, we will have multiple options which way to go.
Safety, DT, LBer, DE, WR. In no particular order could all be in play depending how our off -season goes.
I personally hope we are in the top 10, but that 10 - 15 area looks pretty inviting so far.
And while Jenty is a total Jerry move, I hope we don't do that in the first.

If you only look at sacks Osa is not good…fortunately it’s the year 2024 and there are a lot of other metrics easily available if you do a little digging.

Osa is solid - it might not be us be he’s about to make big money. I’d love to bring him back.

I just don't see 10 QBs better than Dillon Gabriel. Somebody is going to get a playable QB in the mid rounds.

He makes it work with his wrestling background. I’m fine to move on…but you’re going to need to tell me who were replacing him with for similar production that isn’t a rookie.

move on rather than pay him
there are ways to upgrade a player like him without a top draft choice or lots of money

Kelvin Banks Jr hurt his leg in the Texas A&M game. I haven't heard how serious it is or if it's very minor.

Big QBs with big arm talent and don't know how to play the position like Gabriel don't usually make it.
Let’s revisit this in 2/3 years…I’d bet Gabriel is a backup at best.

He has physical limitations and runs a gimmick offense.
