What’s the difference between doing a just missed and a top 11

Is Zion young a good fit for us

Bain 15th. Delane not in the top 15. Mesidor not even on the big board.
Can someone explain to me this knock on Bain about arm length. Parsons arm measurent is only a half inch longer. So if Parsons arms were a finger tip shorter he wouldn't be as productive?

Mesidor dropped significantly! Wonder if Kiper knows something about his medical? Mesidor was up to 13 on his big board before the combine.

I don't remember that. He was 17th in January though.
Akheem Mesidor at No. 13 overall

Miami's other top-15 guy is Akheem Mesidor, who lands at No. 13 overall. Mesidor logged 72 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, 55 pressures and four forced fumbles in 2025.

"When his initial move is thwarted, Mesidor never stops battling. He also brings some versatility, with the ability to shade inside to DT and get pressure on the interior."

Give me a link.

Minor complaint, but I’d love to know how Kiper determines who’s a DE and who’s an OLB. There’s a very blurry line between those 2 spots and really muddies up the rankings

Depends on what you're looking for?
Think he'd fit as a SAM behind Gary for a season or 2 before taking over.
Do you want to drop a top 20 pick on either a backup to Gary or a SAM.
Everyone he has listed as a DE fits as a strong side DE or SAM in a 34. The only 2 that rate in the top 20 would be Bain and maybe Parker.
Faulk and Overton would need to put on 10-12 lbs of muscle and play as 5Tech.

Arm length doesn't hurt Bain at all. He attacks with his hands and absolutely destroys people. If he is available at 12 they should take him. He would make the Cowboys a better team.

12: Bain
20: McDonald

Thank you
I'd probably go that way too. Kiper's big board lines out for us about the best I've seen. At 12, we have the choice of Bain or Delane. At 20, Young, McDonald or Thienemen. No linebacker, but C.J. Allen is probably in his top 30.
