Kiper draft grade

What about when they give Dallas negative grades?

Worth noting?
Gosselin always gives the Cowboys negative grades...you can take that to the bank.
Gosselin's reason will be because we did not get a DE or a Safety in this draft.
Facts like where we picked and quality of DE's available are conviently forgotten in his grades.
If he knocks us for not getting a safety then he is a hypocrite. He himself said that this was the weakest safety class he has seen in the draft in 20yrs.

I have to say I'm extremely happy with the Boys picks. OL was addressed and the entire group of players drafted by the Cowboys possess good athleticism.

....the gspots getting Greg Jones: LB out of MSU hurt BAD...thought that guy could help us...would've taken him in the 5th personally.:banghead:

Yeah Jones is a real player. Would have liked to have had him over D. Harris in the 6th for sure. Perfect fit for New York's style of defense though. Dude can bring some lumber and can create turnovers, and is great at getting to the ball.

The Giant's draft was a little overrated. Many people were calling Prince a steal but Gooselin had him rated in the middle of round 1 as the number 15 prospect. So he didn't fall too far from where he was rated. And if Prince had problems with Justin Blackmon of Oklahoma State last year imagine what Dez, an ex-Oklahoma State receiver, is going to do to him this year.

Austin was a good value pick at where he was selected, but how many defensive linemen do the Giants need? To me they should have addressed their OL earlier than they did.

Yea Miles and Bryant will eat Prince alive. Physical big receivers are going to give him fits. I always thought Prince was a #20+ overall pick. The only reason mock drafts had him so high because they thought the Lions and Cowboys would reach for him and neither took the bait.

Mel Kiper gave the Cowboys a B- for the draft. Reported that the 2nd and 3rd round picks were surprisng since their were other pressing needs but later picks made up for it.

He based the grades on needs, value and picks.

Then he undervalues the Murray pick. Just because Barber (and possibly Choice) is still on the roster doesn't mean he will be. RB was a bigger need than most knew.

People are questioning the Carter pick now but before it's over he will be considered the Cowboy's best pick and one of the real steals of this draft.

I think Tyron Smith will be the best pick but I also think Carter will be a close 2nd.

After looking at the highlight reels of DeMarco Murray, if I was Barber I would start packing my stuff and if I were Felix and TC i'd be hitting the gym like I was getting ready for a title fight. This guy is the real deal.

At this point I'm not real sure who's gone, but it's apparent to me that everyone in the backfield was put on notice with the murray selection.

Dallas is receiving solid B grades from most evaluators through various media related sites. That merely is an agreement to the range of talent involved and the principals that were selected for. All immediate draft grades involve monopoly money to begin with. A B grade without the additions of free agency only implies team relevance restricted to that draft. It gives a pass level for the Dallas Cowboys here. They all have to be coached up and developed now.

or one of the worst picks.... so let hope he can recover from this injury

It can go either way......

Since the Cowboys employ full time an arthroscopic surgeon, I feel confident the likelihood of success in further developments are soundly allready in hand.
