If Taylor Mays is still on the board come the 20th pick, this board will freeze my computer.

Since McClain, Thomas, and Davis will be gone by 27, we better take Iupati if he is still on the board. I know we need Tackles too, but we cannot pass on a beast of a guard to protect Romo and open running lanes for Felix and Choice.

I like Iupati as well because Bulaga won' there at 27

Teams such as Minnesota, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Miami and Cincinnati will likely have him rated highly on their board.

Strengths:
Massive frame
Excellent strength and bulk; carries weight well
Good speed and athleticism for size
Nasty, blue-collar demeanor
Great hand punch
Finishes blocks
Anchors against bull rush
Tough
Wins 1v1 battles in phone booth
Fluid when asked to pull/trap
Good but not great agility
Focused; doesn't take many plays off
At times will flash dominance
Good upside

UR the only one comparing him to Ferguson.

Stupid, lazy, fragile, inexperienced, not aggressive, lack of fundamentals, lack of dedication.

I just moved from Baltimore to CT.

I've seen my fair share of Maryland games in the last 2 years.

Over the last year I focused specifically on Campbell cuz I knew we would need OL help and if you have been paying attention I have a pretty good feel of when underclassmen are coming out.

Besides that, I've never heard of him.

i dont think Rex Ryan will be spending a 1st rounder on a WR after getting Edwards....

Especially on a over hyped Golden Tate.

Personally, and I know it's against many trains of thought, but I would really like Iupati with #27. We can find a RT tackle somewhere other than Rd 1 and I really think the team believes in Doug Free as the LT of the future. (Wow, I've said that a lot tonight) If we find a beast G like Iupati, who many think could start from Day 1, then the whole offensive line looks a lot better either next year if Flo is deemed to be less effective than Free, or the year after at the latest.

Free Iupati Gurode Davis RT X

That looks younger, more athletic and less likely to break down. Perfect scenario is Brewster or Bright prove to be capable RT in two years and our OL is basically rebuilt with 1 more draft pick. I also believe we can get one more year out of a fully healed and conditioned Columbo. I know that's optimistic, but I don't think that's been outlawed around here. Yet.
Good to have somebody else on the Mike Iupati bandwagon.

It's good to see all the Mike Iupati supporters. Since we have no chance at Dez, Iupati is the one I want.
