Kiper Mock 4.0 4/8/25

I would take Hampton at 12

U don’t think golden is good enough for 12

The question really comes down to how do they feel about tit McMillan ? He has the bad quotes but the potential for a Terrell Owen’s has to excite the cowboys in a draft class like this.

No more offensive linemen the position group is deep let someone step up.

Malaki and the South Carolina safety would be great for sure.

So their board has to be in this order:
Hunter
Abdul
Tyler Warren
jeanty, Omarion
Tet(?)
Mason graham

I bet their room is split crazy on Tet

He’s a good player.

But is he that much more talented than an Ollie Gordon or Kaleb Johnson you can snag much later?
Maybe it would be fun to jsut grab Omarion and not worry about day 2 and just bank on Omarion and this group breaking records and be thankful no one else got him

Rather wait for either of the two OSU RB in the second.

I really hope someone picks Tet before the Dallas pick.

Hampton fits the prototype RB we need for this team. There's more than one round to fill other holes. This draft is deep in Defensive lineman also so you can get one in the second round . And even if I take Hampton I would still take another RB in the later rounds.
Gold star for him. So do like 8 other RBs in the draft.

I'm still waiting for someone to explain hamptons special trait. I'm guessing the answer is none.

I believe this is the second time he has Mock OH to Dallas.

That's interesting.

Picking the 2nd best RB at #12 overall is 1 of the dumber the things you could possibly do as a GM…so I don’t rule it out
Everyone laughed at the Lions when they Took Gibbs 12th. It’ll work if you have the right plan for the player.

He’s a plug and play day 1 starter with no weakness. Hes going to get you 1200+ yards and 10+ tds as a rookie. He does everything very well.

And imagine if they took a pro-bowl caliber defender and still got Devon Achane in the 3rd…or Chase Brown in the 5th.

Obviously that’s hindsight, but you’ll never convince me there aren’t always good running backs available

Kiper is somewhat famous for being below average in his projections when compared to other professionals.

He got famous for draft prep and presentation but he stopped being good at that over a decade ago and even then he wasn’t accurate

I think my comp for Hampton is Fournette.

Big, strong linear back that doesn’t have much wiggle and lateral agility.

2nd round? Sure. 12? No.
