Kiper - Playing GM for each team

Since Cowboys have shown basically no interest in DT's, I doubt they draft one at #60.

I'd be okay w that if we grabbed a different RB

That would work, I guess. It looks more like B than an "A" though. imo

Had to blink.
He has Chicago using the 7th overall pick in the draft on Breshad Perriman.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say <5% chance on that one.

The Jets getting both Kevin White and Eli Harold is pretty sweet for them.

Browns getting Danny Sheldon, Todd Gurley, Devin Smith....nice

I like Bennett and Langford, so that's good. I am not sure about Jones in 1 though. I think the value at CB is in the second round

The year of the WR...again.

Kiper would have 7 WRs going in the 1st round and 13 in the first two rounds.
hat should help our cause at other positions if it were to go down that way.

I would hate this draft

I have no interest in Langford at all...Bennett would be OK...and Byron Jones isn't very appealing to me either...Byron Jones is a very difficult player for me to assess...I just think the tape doesn't justify the pick w this guy

I don't like the idea of drafting a cornerback in the first round. I just can't understand the though process especially since Dline is much more important and the team has gotten burned the last two times they drafted a cornerback in the first round.

I prefer drafting another olineman in the first if a DE, DT, or WR are not there.

We got burned and with exception of Scandrick had zero success drafting CBs out of 1st round.

Hasn't watched anything on the Jones kids but played FS most of his career then switched to CB last yr and played well. Certainly has the athletic ability to do it. Good kid too.

I like Byron Jones. Not sure if he should be a 1st or 2nd rd pick but the dude can play.

Yes, I have a hard time finding much fault with him. He might be a little physical but he is not grabbing/holding to slow receivers it's more just giving them a shove on occasion that is past 5 yards. I don't think he will have a problem not doing it like some college CBs that are dependent on grabbing receivers to slow them down.

At Safety he looked better than top Safety prospects like Randall.

It's certainly not the worst draft I have seen. Jones really seems like he is becoming the fallback du jour at #27. He would be a good addition.

Bennett is a guy whose best football may be behind him and he really isn't going to get better. I think that and the durability issues are why few people are really excited about him.

I like Langford so I like this pick. He already has pass blocking skills that are among the best of the backs coming out this year. He is fast and is a one cut style of runner so he fits what we are looking for. He may not have the power that Murray did but he has the second gear that Murray didn't.

Starting to get fired up about the draft.....still a long wait!

Langford good at blocking? Catching passes? If not then do not think he would be a good fit.

I like Langford. I'd have no problem with that pick. It's a late 3rd rounder. If he went late in the 2nd round it wouldn't shock me.

I don't think he has any special qualities but I do think he'd have a chance to be a solid starter here. We probably couldn't work him like we did Murray last year though.
