Kiper (Prince) Toddy-Mac (Tyron) on the Cowboys Pick

If Dallas stays at 9, u can bet it will be one or the other as a Cowboy unless Fairley or Peterson fall. Which is unlikely

I think Peterson makes it to 6(the Browns)

I also think the Cowboys like Peterson enough to give up a 3rd to trade for him

At that point it depends on if the Browns take that deal(or if theres a better deal available for them)

Under that scenario and they miss out on the blue chip guys, I hope they get a great offer to move down.

Between a CB and a OT at the same level, I take the OT first as the game is won on the line of scrimmage.

In this case, I take Tyron 100x over as he is the better player AND he plays on the line of scrimmage.

I agree that between Prince and T Smith I'd take Smith as well.

Don't know much about either except Prince is always 2nd to Peterson. Thought at one time Solder was supposed to be the better OT but Smith has rise up the board. Admit I'm scared about any SC player given previous reputation for their being lazy, etc as we saw with the law SC OT we drafted a few years back.

Frankly if Smith is potentially the best OT on the board and mocks say he worth going that high, then I'd go with him over CB. After all, Smith would be protecting Romo on even offensive snap while CB is in play in passing plays mostly.

Still wouldn't mind if we could slide down a few picks & then grab Smith. Hopefully we would get at least a 4th or even a 3rd for the swap in first rounders.

Who do you pick between Fairley and T Smith?

I hope you're wrong about Prince &/or Smith. I don't like Smith that high and I don't like Prince anywhere.

Fairley or Peterson would be a best-case scenario.

I think AJ Green and at least one QB will go before #9. There's still a chance someone falls. The really interesting option will be Robert Quinn and whether teams back off him because of the tumor.

Based on the attitude concerns of Fairley, I wonder if he's not Haynesworth part II, in which case, I take the safer bet with Tyron Smith; however, if I can trade down a few picks to pick up an extra second or third, I think Tyron Smith will probably still be there. Patrick Peterson, as far as I'm concerned, ranks #1...I take him over anybody.

I know it's the popular thing on here to trade down if we decide to go O-line, and then just grab the best one at that time. Personally, I'm REALLY against this notion. Smith is not guaranteed to be there if you trade down. Even if there isn't much difference between the #1 and #2 or #3 linemen, there is SOME difference. I want the best one possible. Don't risk it.

Only if the scouting department is lazy and not doing their job well will the Cowboy's not have a clear cut best lineman. It appears that that guy is Smith. Unless a blue chip no-brainer is still there instead, grab your guy. Don't settle for 2nd or 3rd best.
