Kiper regrades the 2013 draft....

I agree but Lacy was picked up before our 2nd pick came up along with Leveon Bell, so both of those weren't options at the time

No, Escobar was taken way ahead of Lacy. We could have even traded down 10 slots (n a dream world) and gotten an extra pick and still had lacy vs Escobar.

Even moreso...Warford.

My apologies but I was wrong on both accounts...

We passed!

Seems like he's underrating Holloman and overrating Randle, especially considering Holloman's plays came at a new position for him and he missed almost 1/3 of the season with a neck something. And he was also a very good special teams guy.

I agree. He thinks Randle can be a starter. I have the complete opposite opinion. I think Randle will prove to be a complete waste of a pick. Holloman I can see being a borderline starter in this league. I don't think he'll ever be anything special, but the majority of guys starting on teams are average/slightly above average.

I don't have access to Insider. Can anyone post some other team's re-grades from the same article?

well, seeing that he was the next to last player taken in the 1st round...not much of a stretch there

He wouldnt have been there for the Cowboys second round pick. Thats what I meant.

Speaking of this, if anyone has access to Insider, can you also post Kiper's new big board? I can only see the top 3.

The Lion were the only team to get "A". Warford was a big reason.

I think the 2013 Draft Class will always be a hit due to Frederick and T. Williams. Frederick will be anchor on the offensive line for a decade while Williams will be an above average #2 or #3 receiver for us.

This draft could have been even better if they would have taken Larry Warford or Eddie Lacy instead of Escobar. Lets just hope Escobar makes a ton of progress in the next few years.

The key to the 2013 draft will be J.J. Wilcox. He was very raw when drafted, and we all knew he was a project. Struggled as a rookie, but got valuable playing time. If he takes a few steps forward and learns how to play safety he could be what this team has been missing at Safety.
