How on earth do you go on an opposing forum and have the testicular fortitude to have such an obnoxiously large signature image? :lmao2::lmao2:

I agree KJ,it takes atleast 3 years to see what teams really benefited the most in each and every draft.

All this chatter about which teams drafted well and which teams didn't is silly but it keeps everyone entertained until camps open and we begin finding out. I've seen alot of A grades immediately after the draft turn into D's and F's a few years later. The Raiders and Browns drafts were listed as "winners" immediately after the 07 draft by ESPN's John Clayton....Ooooops! LOL

Walters football gave the Raiders a B- in the 07 draft. When they listed the Raiders good moves they called Jamarcus Russell a no brainer pick. LOL They all either look bad or good at the time.

A B- ???

You've gotta be kidding me. B+ at the minimum.

There was no Oline value where we picked, and whoever we brought in was going to be for depth.

We haven't even started free agency, where we have NO CAP. We will be able to fill holes with veterans for depth.

We can draft Oline next year.

And Kiper is wrong on Free. He is nothing to worry about. He's going to make mistakes in his first year at LT, but he will do his job. He is the better option this upcoming season than Flo or any rookie that we had the ability to draft.

Actually if they go beyond our size guidelines or have animation in them they go away. Yours is within the size Guidelines. You should thank bbgun for knowing what they are.

Philadelphia Eagles

Summary: The Eagles were positioned well to take advantage of a deep draft, and they did, piling up seven productive picks between the third and fifth rounds. But Philly started well too. In Brandon Graham they have a potential Rookie of the Year on defense. They filled a need at safety with Nate Allen, and I like Trevard Lindley in the fourth. He has second-round ability. Ricky Sapp may be a tweener, but getting a guy who can get to the quarterback like he can in the fifth round is good value. He could be a solid situational pass-rusher early in his career. Riley Cooper is quicker than many people think to go with above-average size.

Draft grade: B+

New York Giants

Summary: Good draft. I like the bet they're making on Jason Pierre-Paul. If you have a chance to take a star at that point, and it won't kill you in the meantime because you have some depth, it's a shot you can take. Beyond that, Linval Joseph could be a steal. A really active player at his size. Giants fans may not know Phillip Dillard, but as inside linebackers go, he has excellent range and could develop into a really good one. At No. 117 overall, that's a nice get.

Draft grade: B

( guess Kiper is a Nebraska homer too :D )

Washington Commanders

Summary: I projected Washington to take Trent Williams with that No. 4 pick, but while I think Williams is likely the most talented offensive lineman in the draft, and should be able to go back to the left side effectively, I felt Okung was the safer pick. He was the guy most likely to take that left tackle position and solidify it from Day 1. Washington didn't pick again until No. 103, and maybe picked up some linebacking and special teams depth. If Williams isn't really good, and early, this could be an empty draft.

Draft grade: C-

********

Not too different from my opinion, only I was one grade more generous on the top teams..

Last year we had a bunch of picks and got massacred for it. This year the iggles have a bunch and they're praised for it.

Don't worry about it, folks. If we had swapped drafts with the eagles or giants, it would have been an exact same grade. The Eagles would have gotten an A for our draft and we'd have gotten a B- for theirs.

Comes with the Star. Roll with it.

The only problem I have ever had with these Draft Grades is that the author's base them on what they think were the team needs. For instance Kiper Mentions LT right away. It completely flies in the face of reality to assume the team agrees with him on the importance of adding another LT.

Then they turn right around and say the exact opposite for another team. Did the Giants really need more DL help? Yet they are not graded down for not addressing his pre-conceived needs.

The other problem is these guys always grade you on who they would have taken. If the teams wanted their opinions they'd try and hire them. You know, the way we did with Gil Brandt, who was one of the originators of Draft analysis.

Grades are too subjective. Especially this soon.

Summary: The question for Dallas fans shouldn't be about the talent of the players the Cowboys picked up early. The Boys traded up for Dez Bryant -- in that case they slipped in just ahead of Baltimore, where Bryant would have been a huge score -- and did the same for Sean Lee, a likely replacement at some point for Keith Brooking. But unless they do something in the interim, the Cowboys will head into camp with Doug Free as the best left tackle on the roster, and while the team likes Free's potential, Tony Romo's blindside protection is still a concern. getting Akwasi Owusu-Ansah in Round 4 I liked. He could make the transition to safety.Draft grade: B-

I hate when they give grades based on their perspective of team needs. Just grade the players that were drafted!

Oops... Hos beat me to it.

Absolutely, positively.

I was reading on some site a few minutes ago regarding the biggest steals of the draft. Dez's name was nowhere to be seen.

At least the concensus is that Denver's FO needs to have their heads examined for brain leeches.

When you keep trading down and don't start picking until the 3rd round and draft purely for special teams you're going to get bashed.

Obviously we don't know how things will turn out.

But it seems clear that the kick/punt return teams just got better.

Of course is too soon. 2 years from now it would still be too soon, but that's the fun part AND that's how they make their money.

I don't have a problem if they base their grades on whom they would have taken as opposed to who the team drafted, within reason AND as long as they're informed.

My problem is always with those who are NOT informed, don't know what the heck is going on with the team, and are just throwing ...shtuff... against the wall to see if it sticks OR for shock news purposes.

I see Goose gave us a C....

DALLAS COWBOYS GRADE: C

The Cowboys drafted the NFL offensive rookie of the year in Bryant. But one pick does not a draft make. Sean Lee is the only other draft pick likely to have an impact from this class. Owusu-Ansah is an interesting developmental project.

Oh, NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year just might make it for me.

NFL Rookie of the Year would make a draft for a whole lot of teams in a hurry. Matter of fact, it might make it their best draft in the decade for them.

Let's see, we drafted two impact players and a very good safety prospect in the fourth. We have pretty much every starting position on the roster spoken for in every offensive and defensive formation.

Goose expected us to do what, exactly???

EDIT: He gave Denver an A??? :lmao::eek: :lmao::eek: :lmao::eek: :lmao::eek:
