Kiper has McCoy Cisse & Delane gone by the time they pick at 20 as top corners so instead of taking Terrell at 20 he’s got TJ Parker the Clemson edge as Cowboys choice ( Styles at 12 ) .

On the very next choice he’s got Pittsburgh at 21 taking Terrell . Two picks front seven seems sound for the rebuild , would have liked Terrell at 20 but understand .

If it's terrell or Parker I'll take Parker.

With no 2 or 3 I’m worried where Dallas stocks this CB position . Bland coming off surgery . If Parker is the choice hopefully Clowney and Houston are back plus Ez you have a 4 man rotation. Then over at DT seems to be in a nice spot with Williams Clark OSA top 3

Whoever we take, we're going to kind of feel that way if we don't do much in free agency because we just don't have enough premium picks to fill all our absolute needs: inside linebacker, defensive end, safety and cornerback.

Last year, I liked the Booker pick but I was a bit disappointed because I thought we badly needed a receiver (and would have preferred a DT). But when we traded for Pickens, I felt a whole lot better about the Booker pick ... and even better after we acquired Quinnen.

We've got to address two positions in free agency and much better than we usually do.

A drafted under contract control CB much more dollar friendly than an expensive FA CB . I would much rather find a safety in FA than a CB .

Do we sign Clowney or Hendrickson?
I would do both. We need more than three defensive ends, and Hendrickson keeps us from having to take a DE in the first round.

I don't think we will sign one of the top FAs, though. I think we're more likely to just re-sign Clowney as our place-holder and feel we're OK there if the draft doesn't fall to where a DE is the best pick.

I don't hate it, but would trade down that 20 pick.

I tend to think based on the play of our secondary that we'll overreact and spend those first two picks on a CB and S. If Downs is there at 12, we take him and then someone like Terrell at 20. If Downs isn't there, we take Delane or McCoy and maybe trade down some for Thienemen or McNeil-Warren. If we're going to take the DB combo, I hope for the second scenario because we at least get another pick out of it ... but I would absolutely love to have Downs.

Styles is my choice at 12 . Dallas needs a play making front seven disrupter then a secondary player at 20

I have no clue about these players. Never seen them play, never seen them practice and have never heard them speak. McClay and his scouting department have over and over again so I’ll take their judgement and root for whomever the draft until they prove them wrong. You hit on some. You lose on others just like every other team.

Florida and Florida State has two big defensive tackles that the Cowboys should look at. Both would be perfect 1 techs with Quinnen and Osa. I wish we had our second day picks.

Perhaps we fill the need at CB via FA. Or maybe we fill the need at edge via FA. We’ll know more when draft day comes so I’m not too honed in on one position yet.
